This is a licensed short term rental with the City of Cottonwood Heights.


This beautiful 3000 Square Foot town home is perfectly situated at the base of the Wasatch Mountains in a small comfortable community. You cannot get any closer to the resorts of Snowbird or Alta without staying at one of the hotels at the mountain. As outdoor enthusiast ourselves we purchased this home because of its proximity to all the outdoor treasures the area has to offer for all of the seasons.

Just minutes from the best skiing in Utah, this home sits in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountain range at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon which holds 2 of the best ski resorts in N. America. Snowbird and Alta resorts are just 8 miles from the house and are nominated on a regular basis as best resorts by many of the major ski publications. With an average of 600 inches of snow per year there is always plenty of great skiing no matter if you like to ski groomers or powder. Solitude and Brighton are also only 15 miles away and offer a great variety of terrain.

The house boasts 2 family rooms, 2 kitchens 2 wood burning fireplaces and 5 bedrooms and is spread out on 2 floors so everyone has plenty of room to roam no matter if you are with a large group of friends or multiple families traveling together. With bedding arraignments situated to accommodate up to 15 people you are sure to find this house perfect for your group.

The first floor of the home has the kitchen, dining room, 1st family room, outside deck and fireplace. The master bedroom is located on this floor and has a king bed and full private bath. There is also a bunk room on the first floor with a twin over full bunk bed and a second full bathroom. The downstairs has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. First bedroom has a king bed, second bedroom has another twin over full bunk bed and the 3rd bedroom has 2 full size beds in it. The second kitchen and family room are also located on this floor and the family room has a wood burning fireplace. A door off of the family room leads to the backyard where there is a 6 person hot tub perfect for those after ski breaks to sooth those muscles or a great place to sit and watch the snow fall in the evening. The house has a 2 car garage and there is parking in the driveway for 2 additional cars. Both kitchens are fully equipped to handle all of your cooking needs from that important morning breakfast before heading to the slopes to a gourmet dinner for the entire gang. Kids want something different for dinner the second kitchen is perfect for that! Propane BBQ is on the back deck for all of your outdoor grilling needs.

The house has 2 50” HD TV’s in both family rooms and another 40” in the master bedroom with cable TV with 150 channels and 2 DVD players. The house has high speed WiFi available throughout the house perfect for streaming movies on any of your devices.

There are 2 grocery stores 2 miles from the house plus a Whole Foods Market about 6 miles away. Plenty of great restaurants just a few miles away, movie theater, Starbucks, hospital, and Downtown Salt Lake city is about 20 miles if you want to go and explore the area.

Loved Loved it! We are a group of 2 families with 6 kids who ski together every year. This was our first year in Utah and chose this house because the layout seemed to fit our big group and we could not have been happier! The owner was a pleasure to deal with when we called him multiple times before arrival asking about the home and the area. All the amenities in the house were great and up to date. The kids Loved the bunk room downstairs and the adults loved that we had so much room to spread out. We usually dont go back to the same place twice but we will be back to this house for sure!

Perfect location for skiing!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this condo. The location was perfect for skiing at Alta if you want to be at the base of the mountain. It was nice to have the hot tub and sauna. The owner was very responsive and the trip went smoothly.

A little worn but PERFECT for a ski vacation.

The property was perfect for 6 middle-aged men on a ski vacation. The condo is a little worn but spacious, convenient, and comfortable. The hot tub was a real winner after a day on the slopes. I found the owner and the property manager to be very accommodating and responsive. We compiled a list of some attention items and recommendations and I felt the property manager will address them. Great location for getting to the slopes, grocery stores, and restaurants. Would definately stay at the property again.

Location was good but condo is tired looking....would not rent again

As stated in the title the location of this condo is excellent right between the two canyons....perfect if you plan to visit multiple mountains over your stay. The owner is also reachable and did address the concerns below after the fact. We're a group of several guys that go out west each winter. This was our 7th year and we've stayed in really nice properties that were more expensive and have stayed in less expensive properties like this one. From a value perspective and packing people in, this property would suffice in most cases. For us though, we will not consider it the next time we visit Utah. The condo while large is dated and in some cases like the rugs it's just dirty. The issues we had while here were that the wifi never worked (just heard from owner that it was a provider issue) and there was no propane in grill. In all fairness, we only called the property manager on the internet issue once and the propane issue was on our last day. These issues were just a hassle as they should have been addressed prior to our arrival. Also, the hot tub has a funky smell and was very dirty . The kitchen while well stocked, also felt dark and uninviting. One in our group is a chef and he flat out refused to cook because of kitchen layout. Again, this condo runs on the cheaper side so I guess you get what you pay for. For us, we'll spend the extra money next time and get a property that is better taken care of and more updated.

Good location.

Overall, good place to stay. The rental needs some TLC - worn carpet, only one hot tub works, shower heads need replacing, oven/stove needs cleaning. Lots of space. Short drive to ski resorts, grocery, and ski rental.

Can't review this property as when sister-in - law arrived prior to myself, the property manager and her had discovered that the air conditioning was not working. The property manager let us stay in another townhome in same complex which worked out beautifully for our group.

The Townhouse is located 8 miles from Snowbird and Alta and 15 miles from Solitude and Brighton ski resorts. These 4 resorts boast some of the best skiing in N. America and get more powder per season than just about anywhere in the US. I have personally skied all 4 resorts and can attest to the great amount of versatile runs for skiers of all abilities. Park City, Canyons and Deer Valley are only 40 minutes away making this one of the most centrally located accommodation in the valley. Moab, and Arches National Parks are just a few hours drive from the home and great for day trips anytime of year.
