About Arnold Manangan
I am retired after 30 years in the government service and my wife still works as an Epidemiologist at a federal agency in Atlanta. Our jobs took us to several enjoyable places. We've lived in the Philippines, Hawaii, Utah, Colorado and currently live in Decatur, GA. We both have Masters of Public Health degrees from University of Hawaii. We love to babysit our 3 grandchildren. We enjoy being with our relatives so we often go to Hawaii, California, North and South Carolina, Germany and London. Being in touch with family and friends is very important to us. We love to garden. My wife specializes in cottage style landscaping and the outcome of which ever which way design is actually marvelously and beautiful sight to see. I love to go fishing and go to the South Carolina coast and get excited when I catch those big red drums and release them afterwards.

Why Arnold Manangan chose Stone Mountain
Stone Mountain Park is a few minutes drive from the home. We understand the value of staying in a place where you can enjoy the house so we have put a lot of effort in making it pleasant, cozy and up-to-date in furnitures, appliances, etc. The house is cleaned by professional cleaners but we cross-check their job performance. Also, the home was newly landscaped to make it appealing.
What makes this House unique
The home was decorated by a professional decorator so the home evokes that enlighthening feeling while you are there. The property is surrounded by forest and birds flock to the property and they are fun to watch. The home gives that tranquil feeling even if it is close to the city proper. Few minutes away is the well known Stone Mountain Park. Close proximity of shopping areas including grocery stores makes the home an ideal location for travelers to enjoy their vacation. There are 3 decks. Open your French door you walk onto the master bedroom deck with a private view of the forested area. Adjacent to the kitchen area is the bigger deck where you can do your outdoor grilling your hamburgers, hot dogs, etc.

My family had an extended stay in this home for 2 months when we moved here from NJ and were waiting for our home to be built. This home was more than enough for the 6 of us. It had everything we needed so the only thing we had to unpack was our clothes. Having WIFI and cable was great too. The home is located on a nice, quiet, and safe cul-de-sac in a great neighborhood. It is close to everything, grocery stores, restaurants, other stores, and events happening in the area and in Atlanta.
Arnold and Lilia are wonderful people! They were more than accommodating to our family. They were very responsive to our questions and ensuring we had what we needed. We would definitely recommend this beautiful home whether for a short or an extended stay.
Peggy and Joe, thanks for your kind review.
great space, many amenities available
My family and I really enjoyed this home. The hosts were fantastic to work with. We have 6 children and we had plenty of space for them to hang out and sleep in the fully furnished basement and the extra bedrooms. They really enjoyed the 4 different levels of the home. The 3 bathrooms were great to have as well. The rooms were very clean and freshly vacuumed. The neighborhood was very nice, quiet (for the most part) and safe. There are lots of trees everywhere but you see neighbors in each direction. It's a pretty neat neighborhood. The first day we arrived one of the neighbors were playing music from their cars pretty loudly but it wasn't a big deal. The driveway was pretty steep and there is a fairly large dip at the end of the driveway into the cul-de-sac. We drive a 12 pass. Nissan NV so turning around at the top of the driveway was a bit challenging. I loved how the hosts had lots of personal touches throughout the home. It made me feel like I knew them. It was almost as if they were friends of mine who gave me a key to hang out in their home for vacation! :) We would definitely come back when we make it to Stone Mountain again. Stone Mountain was only 10 minutes away. Everything was very easy to get to, as well. Great location! Walmart, restaurants, gas stations, fast food, Stone Mountain park, and The Village Center (Germantown). Thank you Arnold and Lilia!!
Plenty of space and the neighborhood was quiet--it worked out well for our group.
Great property in a good location!
The guests were very nice. They followed all the house rules. I would like them to reserve the property again without hesitation.
My family and I were just blown away at this beautiful Christian home. Everything that we could ever need or want for was there waiting for us. The neighborhood was awesome the scenery was awesome we could never ask for anything more. I highly recommend this property
Great family getaway!
My family of seven really enjoyed our stay! We were all very comfortable with room to spare. We can't wait to stay again.
Clean, nice property with the amenities of home
Large house, nice bedrooms, room for an air mattress or two in common areas if people don't want to share beds.
TV is small, but we didn't even watch it.
Would definitely stay here again, it was exactly what we needed!
