About Robin and Judi Hobbes
Robin is English, Judi a transplanted American, living in South Manchester, UK. We are both psychotherapists and run a Psychotherapy centre together in a nearby village. We love Spain, and Judi is a sun worshipper who also loves to swim. Robin brings his bike out and cycles through the mountains, even in the summer! We like our guests to feel at home and hope our place feels more like a home than a rental property. Come and find out!
Robin and Judi Hobbes purchased this Villa in 1999
Why Robin and Judi Hobbes chose Orgiva
We love the setting, and Robin, who doesn't normally like too much sunshine or hot weather is happy here because even in summer it is cool enough to sleep comfortably at night. In winter we have sunny, warm days with cold nights -- just right for a wood fire, which heats the whole house now that we have double glazed windows and an insulated roof. Cosy all the year round.
What makes this Villa unique
The house is on a road that ends about a mile down from us, the views are spectacular, the skies are amazing because we have no street lights, the pool and house are completely private, the air is so clean, and the vibe is peaceful. There are lovely people around and the market on a Thursday is fun and provides us with fruit and veg for the week. Great restaurants and bars, and Granada is nearby. The beach is only 40 minutes drive. Mountain walking provides stunning views and great walks, sometimes through waterfalls. There is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in the mountains nearby.
