Girls Wine Tasting Weekend
We had 10 ladies together for a Wine Tasting Weekend. The house was perfect for us. Lots of room and plenty of bathrooms. One item- there isn't a TV in the living room so we couldn't watch a movie but it was all fine because we spent most of our time on the porches. Wine tasting was close by and super fun (Treveri Cellars was our favorite). We ate dinner at the Yakima Steak House and at Cowiche Kitchen- both were really good. There isn't much night life in Yakima everything closes by 10 or 11.
Fantastic inside and out
We had 11 adults our 2 small kids and there was plenty of space for everyone to gather as a large group or have alcoves of privacy. It was extremely fun to explore the house architecture and history, and play hide and seek. As for the little things the house had it all, kitchen appliances, BBQ grill, towels, basic spices, detergents and more. Holli gave us a tour when we arrived and was available for any questions during the trip. She and her husband live downstairs, but the space and layout are so big and separate we barely saw them, so if you are concerned about privacy like I tend to be, I would advise you not to worry. There is a great playground for small kids just 2 blocks away and a cute cafe/soda shop as well. It was also fun to stroll the neighborhood and look at the neat houses and trees. This was our hub for wine tasting, and it was nice to come home after and easily make group dinners in the evening and enjoy breakfast on the various patios in the morning. We would definitely stay again.
Very unique home
This is a very unique home and our entire party of 14 loved staying here. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the balmy evenings. Loved the huge yard but would have liked the sprinklers to have been going a little less during the day as it was large enough that the younger members of the group would have enjoyed playing frisbee golf on the grass. As one family member drove up, she thought, oh how nice, it is right next to a park, then realized that the "park" was actually the yard.
We enjoyed the unique experience. The house was comfortable, festive, and well-equipped!
