My second year here and hope to make it three in a row next year. I love the host family and like the rental apt. and the town also.

Great long weekend

  • 4 of 5

It's a quiet area close to everything with a beautiful view. My husband woke up early every morning to take a long walk and take in the scenery on the bike/walking path across the road. The bed was comfortable. It's a cozy older home across the street from a wheat field. We didn't cook much, but they had what we needed when we did. No cable TV, but there was a DVD/bluray player, so we rented movies from a nearby redbox. No frills, but we had everything we needed and they were accommodating. Had a very relaxing long weekend. Would definitely stay there again!

Great price and location!

  • 5 of 5

The house was big enough for our family. It had what we needed: towels, shampoo, and some kitchen stuff. It was a little hot in the summer, even with the window unit on. Nice owner. We loved it here, will stay here again!

Excellent place to stay. We will definitely try to book it the next time we are in Rexburg!

  • 4 of 5

This house was a great place to stay. It felt like our own place. It was out of the way and quiet, but still close enough to everything in Rexburg to be able get there in just a couple of minutes. There is a drive-in movie theater behind the house, but we never noticed it at all -- couldn't hear any cars coming or going.

The hospitality manager was great. We noticed there was an ironing board in one of the closets, but couldn't find an iron. She was at the door within 10 minutes with an iron and a couple other supplies we asked about (dish soap, paper towels). There is another (completely separate) rental property in the basement of this house. There was some confusion with the renters for that property when we arrived. The hospitality manager met us as we drove up and sorted it out within a couple of minutes. We never heard the people downstairs at all, and only knew they were there when they flushed the toilet and the cold water upstairs disappeared for a few moments (this is the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5).

The windows in the house are positioned perfectly to let the breeze blow through the house in the evening. The swamp cooler worked great once we followed the instructions posted on the refrigerator: close all windows, except the ones in the bedrooms (opposite side of the house) and it will pump cool air through the rooms just fine.

The owner was very easy to work with and responded quickly when we booked the property.

The Wi-fi was fast and problem-free (phones, iPads and a laptop). We had no problems with cell-phone reception from the house, either.

The beds are very comfortable, and the furniture in the front room is great.

We felt at home in the house. It is easy to find, especially with GPS. We will definitely try to book this again when we head up to Rexburg again.

Nice place for our visit to Rexburg, Yellowstone, and more

  • 4 of 5

Thank you for the opportunity to stay in Rexburg. This was a perfect place for our trip to Rexburg and Yellowstone! The place was just the right size and met our needs very well! We had an unexpected problem and the response to fix it was within minutes! We enjoyed have a place to crash while we toured the university, visited Yellowstone, and more! Fun time!

wonderful vacation

  • 5 of 5

I loved the location, the peace and quiet and privacy, and the pretty surroundings. I stayed a month and enjoyed every day. It's within 45 minutes of many great fly fishing waters and close enough for day trips to the Teton and Yellowstone parks. The host family was very welcoming and helpful. Friends and family came at various times and also enjoyed it here.
