If you come to Hawaii for the warm breezes that seem to kiss your skin, then this unit -#203 - is just waiting for you. The trade winds that love our area keep you cool and comfy. Not that you need it that much but there is AIR CONDITIONING - and it sure is nice to have when the trade winds take a vacation! Air handlers are in each bedroom and the living room.

Relax on your private lanai where you can watch the ocean and maybe even some whales in the winter months. Kite surfers love the harbor and you can watch them from your perch on the lanai as well. Love the mountains? You can see those gorgeous views too. Go to sleep to, and wake up to, the sound of the ocean lapping at the beach - enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai as the sun wakes up and lights the West Maui Mountains. A glass of wine in the evening as the sun sets, the lights twinkling at Ma'alaea Harbor, and the breeze ruffling your hair, is pure perfection.

This two bedroom, two bath 2nd floor condominium will be your home while you explore the magic of the Valley Isle. In winter months, the Humpback whales provide a show you'll never forget - and yes, you can sometimes see them from the lanai!

This well appointed unit comes with a FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN, REVOLVING PANTRY, NEW WASHER/DRYER, and a Futon-like sleeper sofa in the second bedroom (sleeps 1 adult or 2 children)

All of your linen needs are included; the master bedroom has a TV and the living area includes a 50' SMART FLAT SCREEN. WIFI internet is FREE OF CHARGE. The wifi access information is near the TV, in the information binder and in the kitchen

In front of the complex is the Ko'ie'ie Fishpond - an ancient wall built several hundred years ago by local fisherman to snare their fish. This wall now creates a calm beachfront for swimming - perfect for little ones or older ones. Walk around the point in front of the National Humpback Whale Sanctuary next door and find a few bigger waves perfect for boogie boarding and watching the wind surfers out in Ma'alaea Harbor.

The perfect stay

This was the perfect stay in Maui! This apartment was well stocked from the kitchen to the beach toys/gear. Location was perfect with the only small complaint being parking can be hard to find(especially with a larger vehicle) in the evening. Host was amazing. Quick to respond to messages both before and during our stay. This was our first trip to Maui and we hope to come back and stay here again.

Beautiful place!

Overall such a wonderful relaxing visit. Place was perfect for us and friends to visit and reconnect. Loved that we had access to bbq’s. We picked up some local meat and watched a beautiful sunset. Walking distance to a lot of places. Perfect location to drive to beaches. A very quiet and peaceful place . Condo was clean, and comfortable. Will visit again. Owner was easy to work with and very kind and responsive to any questions I had. . Easy communication and overall such a wonderful experience to add to our trip.

Wonderful stay!

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Plenty of room, 2 bed/2 bath (with king sized beds!). Clean and organized, well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Great location, right on the beach, no road to cross! We would definitely stay here again!

This stay worked well for us and nice to have separate bathrooms for each bedroom. It had everything we needed and the location worked well for going different places on the island. Well stocked with beach toys although we didn’t use them.

Love love love the ocean and it's been a dream to have a home in Maui for many years, and be able to hear the ocean waves. Now it's time to relax and share with you all too! Happy to have you visit.

Why they chose this property

Menehune Shores is so centrally located to all things you might want to do on the island. Only 15 minutes from the airport (and Costco!), 10 minutes from Maalaea Harbor, 10 minutes from Wailea, and 25 miles (45-60 min) from Lahaina & Kaanapali. Shopping malls are in Wailea and Lahaina; tours you might want to take are easily accessible and if you decide you don't want to rent a car, there are many restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Golf you say? Of course! Many within a short distance.

What makes this property unique

I think the weather is the best in Kihei. I've stayed in just about all parts of the island and find that I love the weather here best. The sunsets from the lanai are spectacular! And rainbows?? Oh yes! Whales sightings?? You betcha! (During the season Dec-Mar)
