luxury villa with swimming pool and staff

This villa was exactly what we needed after 5 days in busy, touristy Seminyak.

Location: A few kilometres outside of Ubud it was peaceful, quiet, and just close enough to enjoy the town when we wanted. Looking out over the rice paddies was relaxing and our daughter really enjoyed being able to see the ducks, chickens, cows, and calves nearby

Villa: About 20 years old and constructed with excellent craftsmanship. A/C in both bedrooms. Exterior doors and gate to property lockable from both the inside and outside. For us, this meant getting to enjoy the uber-refreshing rainforest/infinity pool without a child gate around it as we knew our 3 year old couldn't get out of the house at night, but she was still able to go room to room if she needed to (although we could have locked her door as well if we wanted).

Service: The owners have a house nearby and stopped to say hello on arrival. A huge highlight of the place was the housekeeper, Komang, who did breakfast every day, nannied for our daughter, and generally made sure we had everything we needed. She also made us a gorgeous dinner one night! Our driver Ray was also a big hit and available for transfers from Seminyak and to the airport at the end of the stay.

Overall: We would have happily stayed here for our entire holiday and probably will next time! Don't hesitate if it's available!

We enjoyed our 10 day stay in Villa Balinese. The house was lovely and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. Komang took such good care to see that all our needs and desires were met. The gardens and pool on this property are beautiful and there were so many comfortable places to sit on porches, on in the gardens to view the rice fields and flowers, koy fish in the pond etc. We were also supplied with a scooter and helmets so no need to rent. Our rental materials gave us information on restautants and sights to see and that was very helpful. I would highly recommend this Villa in Ubud to anyone who desires a very peaceful and beautiful place to stay in Ubud.

The garden at this villa is gorgeous,you can happily while away hours watching the activity in the rice fields or swimming in the pool.Komang the housekeeper is a star,I wish I could take her home.She is a great cook and will organise anything you ask for.Please use her to cook dinner and breakfast when you don’t want to go out as she is a great cook.She knows everyone in the area and is a great source of information on local life

After we came from a horrible villa in the south of Bali, we last minute booked 3 nights in this villa.

We really regret that we haven't stay longer... This villa is such a nice place to stay: good service, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, well kept and an ideal location near Ubud, in a quiet pleace.

There is no better place to stay, what people tell in the reviews is true.

A good advice when you stay in Ubud: rent a motorcycle, it’s great to drive around.

"A beautifull Villa, with lots of privacy, a splendid view of the sawa''s. We experienced three weeks in paradise, also becaus the personell Komang an Wayang were so nice, discrete an helpfull. They made us feel as if we had our own private hotel. The villa is 2 km away from Ubud city center. A car or a driver is recommended. We drove ourselve, which is absolute no problem at all if you have driving experience in eg. paris, amsterdam or London."
