Elegant 1-bedroom, 1½ bathroom home, with balcony and rare driveway parking option. Situated on the 2nd floor of an historic townhouse, with an emphasis on organic amenities and customer service.

Located in one of the most preferred neighborhoods in DC, this spacious DuPont Circle home rests on a quiet tree-lined street and features fine dining in walking distance. Conveniently located near Embassy Row, museums and shopping. Even better, nearby salons and bistros abound.

This is one of several units managed by an experienced host who has been awarded SuperHost Status on Airbnb. It is my aim to provide guests the same five-star touches that I look for when I travel: lodging located in a gorgeous neighborhood, safety, cleanliness, upscale linens and towels, comfortable mattresses and high-speed Internet.

The home is renovated and has 1000 square feet of indoor living space, featuring high ceilings, tall windows and original French doors. Enhancing those quarters are two Juliet balconies: just off the kitchen for dining alfresco, and next to the bedroom for morning coffee and quiet conversation outdoors.

Comfortable contemporary and antique furnishings are accented by eclectic décor. You’ll find the kitchen well-stocked, including a juicer and Vitamix. The room opens to the balcony if you prefer taking meals outside.

The spiral staircase leads to a master retreat that is tucked away from the rest of the home. The bedroom is nicely sized and comfortably appointed, the organic mattress topped with freshly laundered linens, cleaned just prior to your arrival. Complementing the space is a full bathroom, sunroom alcove and another balcony. Extra privacy can be yours if traveling with couples, as the sofa sleeper and half bath on the main level expands the sleeping quarters.

Steps from your front door you will find a corner market and a dry cleaner. Just a few blocks beyond enjoy restaurants, cafes, theatre and shopping. After dining, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood with our beautiful mansions.

Minutes away, the subway will transport guests to the most popular sites: the Smithsonian, the Capitol, world renowned monuments and Arlington Cemetery, to name a few. The White House is within walking distance with lovely sites along the way. And if traveling with children, so is the zoo.

Cabs, Ubers and bike rental stations are abundant in the area. If you favor your own vehicle, there are two options that can be added to your quote: driveway parking can be made available for up to 2 vehicles, and any number of street parking permits can also be arranged.

I got kudos from my two girlfriends for finding this place. It was perfect. The area was beautiful (and safe), it was hard to believe it was only steps away from resturants, shops, and the metro. The condo was absolutely charming. It was spotless. The kitchen has been updated and had everything we needed. The bed AND air mattress were incredibly comfortable. (We all wrote the name of the air mattress down so we could go home and buy one for OUR guests). Gloria was delightful to work with. (We had one mini-glitch and even though she was out of town, it was addressed immediately). Thanks, Gloria! We would definitely come back to this lovely condo.

Quaint, Charming Vintage Place in a very Quiet and Safe Neighborhood

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place. We would definitely stay again. We were so happy we chose to stay there instead of across the river. Gloria was an awesome host. She was very helpful and responded to any questions promptly. The place is as described. If driving into the city, pay for the driveway parking. It is worth not having to find street parking or another place to park. The place is an short stroll to Dupont Circle. We read the previous reviews and found them to be helpful. In regards to the stairwell, smaller suitcases would be better than one large one. Don't let it intimidate you. We had no problem going up and down it even after walking the city all day. There are numerous excellent restaurants and bars within walking distance. We enjoyed the Russia House, the Bier Baron Tavern and Larry's Ice Cream & Cupcakes for dessert.

Very comfortable and cozy.

Loved this apt. It is in a great neighborhood & wonderful to walk in. The property itself is very nice and charming,but not overdone so that you feel like you can't even relax on the furniture. Lovely appointments,immaculately clean & great linens. I certainly hope we can stay here again.

Great Location and Great Property!

The property is very clean and conveniently located to the trains, shopping, and dining. You walk past numerous embassies on the way to the train station. Located among beautiful old homes with huge trees in historic neighborhoods.

We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this property to any one looking forward to experiencing Washington DC.

Light & Bright // Safe & Secure // Clean & Well Appointed

I loved meeting Gloria. She was an amazing help. While we were unable to work out an early check-in, I loved that she tried. I loved that she cared. The unit was very much like the photos. I was snowed in on one entire day and the bright windows made my unplanned shut-in day so perfect! So many places I looked at were basement units and I was so happy with the bright light.

The spiral staircase leading to the bedroom was difficult but not unmanageable.

I did not like the smell walking into the building but it was not in the unit at all. Once in the unit the home was welcoming and clean.

I had arrived a little early so I saw it dirty. I dropped my bags and when I came back the cleaning service used by Gloria had done an amazing job. I was very impressed.

My values noted in the title were all met in this special place. I also want to comment on the amazing location. Not only was it safe but it was so close to the places I wanted to go.
