Cozy, convenient, and charming

  • 5 of 5

If you're looking for a rental with homey touches & personal attention of a Bed and Breakfast, you'll enjoy staying here. My friends and I rented this charming barn cottage for a weekend. Prior to our arrival, the owners were quick to respond to any questions and were quite welcoming. After arrival, they were equally responsive and thoughtful; they were readily available if we had any needs given they live quite close to the cottage. The barn cottage was ready for us and stocked with extra toiletries, fresh-baked muffins, coffee, plenty of plush towels, soft sheets, and a comprehensive information book. We enjoyed its access to the Delaware River (complete with a landing perfect for picnics), an above-ground pool, and the walking/biking trail running behind the property line.

A Great Getaway to Rest, Fish and Shop Local

  • 4 of 5

Linnea and kevin are exceptional Hosts. They went out of thier way to ensure we were comfortable.

The home and surrounding mountains are very peaceful offering a wonderful place to rest and recharge yourself.

The home is contemporary country - The River, Bridges and local stores in nearby Frenchtown are wonderful for shopping and Dining

The river is spectacular - with lots of small mouth bass and tiger muskies with fly rods or spinning ..

This property has direct access to the river and a very good fishing hole

Thank you Linnea and Kevin

Wonderful "barn cottage" get-away!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second visit & we are looking forward to our third. This home is simply lovely - I mentioned this in my first review but it needs repeating - The home is decorated so beautifully. There are so many cute touches that will make you smile. Linnea has thought of everything you might need - The grounds are beautiful & flowers abound! Because it was such a hot day, we were able to use the pool on this visit...very relaxing. Ted, the "greeter dog" is adorable - the owners are top-notch. Easy to book & communication is excellent. The little towns of Milford & Frenchtown are just a short drive away where you will find some cute shops. This is one of our favorite rentals and I say without hesitation you will enjoy it as much as we did. Just one of the loveliest places ! Thank you Linnea & Kevin for everything! Chrissy, Art & Ruby, the pup.

Comfortable, Well Equipped, Quality

  • 5 of 5

My family rented this gem as our home away from home during the week of graduation festivities for Princeton. While it was about 45-50 minutes from campus, this location gave us an opportunity to get away from the crowds in Princeton and to enjoy the Bucks County countryside!

Starting with the accommodations, the Barn Cottage is located behind the main house, providing privacy for our coming and going, helpful as we were back in forth early and late. The cottage consists of two floors, a living room, kitchen and bathroom on the main floor and two bedrooms upstairs. The whole apartment was decorated with rustic, sweet antiques along with comfortable modern furniture. Very comfortable beds for both bedrooms!

Well equipped kitchen including gas range, full fridge, microwave and dishwasher gave us all the convenience of home!

Upstairs, know that you will need to walk through one bedroom to get to the other. This set up didn't cause an issue at all for us and our grown children, just a bit of timing to change clothes or use the downstairs bathroom for privacy. Closets upstairs are huge and include a washer dryer for convenience.

The location is beautiful, with Linnea's touch for gardening! Roses abound.

A pool was available but the weather didn't work to that advantage. Adorable small towns featuring antique shops and coffee cafes can be found all along the Delaware River.

We took advantage of the General Store, walking distance from this location, featuring excellent country breakfast platters and lunch sandwiches! Try the local coffee.

We highly recommend this location in any cost to quality assessment! A great week!
