Great until the end
A group of 8 of us stayed at this house to celebrate a 40th birthday and there were some perks and also multiple issues.
Pros: The house is spacious and the beds are comfortable. The pool is refreshing and the coffee makers work, and there are a lot of amenities like buckets for the pool and an outdoor bathroom.
Cons: The pool needed cleaned, the beds had flannel sheets on them (it was 90 degrees), the bathroom door didn't lock, the AC unit wasn't set to cool and it was sweltering inside (this did get fixed with a phone call to the owner on the first night). There were also foot prints on the wood floor from the pool to the kitchen and living room, it looked like the house hadn't been cleaned very well.
But the worst thing was on the final day hours prior to check out, one of our guests was showering in the shower near the stairs and during her shower, new tenants walked into the house! They had been given the same code we used to access the house during our four day stay meaning the code hadn't been changed in between tenants. The gal in the shower was startled to say the least, the new arrivals were surprised and luckily nothing more happened but knowing the same code had been given out to new people while we were still authorized to be there (this happened at 7:30 a.m. on the day of check out) was alarming to say the least. Thankfully the new tenants were polite and nothing worse happened but this was a major security issue and completely inappropriate from the owner.
