About Saskia Huisink-Janse
Mostly you will be in contact with me (Saskia) I live with my husband Onny in this house already more than 23 years. My husband is director and I am the playwright. The vacation rental is something we do beside this. We love to be in contact with people from all over the world and help them to explore the Netherlands. We love to travel ourselves too, as this picture shows, taken in 2009 in Sedona.

Why Saskia Huisink-Janse chose Warder
We rent a part of our house since 1998, because our daughter flew out to live on her own and our theatre got a beautiful new house in Edam, so we could move the office and atelier. Our private house was suddenly large for the two of us, so we decided to do something more with it to be able to maintain this beautiful place where we live and to share it with other people.

Our house is situated in a beautiful, still quiet area in the Netherlands. Near Amsterdam and next to the lake. If you like to be in the countryside, but you don't want to miss Amsterdam with its interesting musea, canals and architecture, come and stay here. Country Lake House
A Gorgeous farming landscape, filled with cute farm animals and pretty kitchen gardens, surrounds this home, with views of the large freshwater lake. The hosts kindly brought us fresh vegetables from their garden. It was a dream!

Great stay in a great location!
This house was a lovely quiet place to stay for three nights. We stayed with our parents (in their 70s) and all four of us were extremely happy. The hosts were kind and helpful, the home was bright and open and the location was perfect to allow us to explore Edam and Amsterdam!

Beautiful inside and out! Wonderful Experience and Fantastic Hosts.
This was truly a beautiful and relaxing stay. Saskia and her husband were wonderful hosts, and even brought us homemade bread and fresh eggs for breakfast. The home was spotless and in a simply beautiful area. Sitting in the hot-tub watching the sun set was so relaxing, as was the sauna. And getting to Amsterdam was simple with a short drive to catch the bus for a 25 minute ride into Central Station. Edam is a delightful little town. All in all a perfect vacation get-away!

Perfekt ausspannen und genießen
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen, entspannten Aufenthalt. Die Location ist einfach perfekt, im Appartement fühlt man sich sofort wohl und hat alles was man braucht. Individuell eingerichtet mit Ausblick auf endlose Wiesen und das Meer. Man kann Kräuter im Garten pflücken und bekommt obendrauf noch Eier von Saskias Hühnern. Die beiden Gastgeber sind sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit.
Amsterdam ist knapp eine halbe Stunde Fahrzeit mit dem Auto entfernt und Edam klein, schnuckelig, abends besonders romantisch.
Wir werden ganz bestimmt wiederkommen.

Great location, beautiful home!
Very beautiful three story home with views of the country side! We stayed here for a little over a week with two families of three each, which the home fit perfectly. The kitchen area is well equipped and allowed us to cook easily to save some money on food. Beds were comfortable and heaters allowed for us to control temperature. Spa and sauna were great places to relax after a day of walking the city. Would highly recommend. Hosts were very accommodating and accessible during stay.
