Spacious clean apartment with all the conveniences of home.
Antonia was super friendly and helpful providing a tourist map of Florence with the home noted along with the location of a great supermarket (Conards- wide selection of groceries) as well as other smaller markets and close restaurants/ bars. She noted the larger outdoor market area, we didn't stay long enough to need much fresh produce though. The available washer came in handy and especially the drying rack in the room to dry our clothes after walking about in the rain. The umbrella was most appreciated too! The coffee and tea was nice homey comfort for mornings and evenings. The apartment was spacious, clean and the large window provided lots of light and the shutter darkened the room for the lazy morning. The ceiling fan made the stay comfortable too. Highly recommend staying here!
Love the location and loft apartment!
My husband and I loved our stay in this loft during our trip to Florence. Beware if you cannot handle steps because it is a 4 or 5th story walk up but the space and apartment location are worth it. The check in process was not the smoothest. We arrived and were knocking, ringing the doorbell, and standing outside for nearly 20 minutes until a woman opened the door handed us a set of keys and started walking away without saying a single word. We quickly followed her up the stairs as she was disappearing and she pointed at the door and walked into a different apartment. We ended up getting locked out the first night because we took the keys she handed us out instead of the full set on the counter that we needed to get into the iron gate inside the doors. OTHER than that the apartment was clean, well stocked, GREAT location, and the owner was so nice at check out!
Thank you Laura, come back soon
The apartment was spacious for two, well-equipped and centrally located. The building was interesting and secure. Antonia and Anna are very helpful and friendly hosts and live in the apartment next door. There are good restaurants, a bakery and food stores within a blocker two. We walked to all the major sites in Florence from here, the Bargello is a block away, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Academia, all a short walk away. The neighborhood is lively and can be noisy late into the night, especially on the weekends. The apartment is several floors up and there is no lift, so hauling heavy suitcases up there can be a challenge. We enjoyed staying here.
Great host and location
Antonia was a super nice and considerate host. She gave us a history lesson of the bldg which was very interesting ! She took the time to give us great information on where to buy leather purses. I bought one along with my sister in law. Many thanks from both of us. We were treated like Queens !
Close to everything
Especially liked this place as it was close to everything. Also, the Host was very attentive and helpful!
My guests are always special people and Debra even more. Come back soon.
We are waiting for you
Communication was great, however despite communicating well in advance and confirming just days before our arrival as requested, our arrival time, no one was there to greet us. Antonia found someone to meet us and she was available by phone and whatsapp. We waited 20- 30 minutes. We could sit inside the building. The positive is that she was very attentive. The place is spacious and well equipped including toiletries. It does have fans, but the upstairs sleeping area gets warm. The location is outstanding!!! So close to a Duomo, market, Ponte vecchio, and many other sites. I hate mentioning the hiccup with checking, it happens, but at least with Antonia, you know she is attentive and will respond immediately if any issue arises. That goes a long way.
Dear Anita, thank you for your review. Sorry for the inconvenience of waiting, we tried to do our best. I hope you come back soon and this time, we will try to be impeccable.

It’s hard to choose among the many cultural or leisure activities available in Florence, and the numberless charming places you’ll be able to discover staying in our flat right in the middle of this city, that is a work of art in itself, included in the UNESCO World Heritage. You’ll be not just among monuments, churches, palaces, but also cinemas and theaters, discos, pubs, and - last but not least - close to several very good Tuscan traditional, ethnic or haute cuisine restaurants.
Allow us just to suggest a visit to the nearby Biblioteca delle Oblate (Via dell’Oriuolo 26, from Monday to Friday 8.30 – 18.30, Saturday 8.30 – 13.30, tel. + 39 055261652) the largest City Public Library recently opened in a former convent of wonderful architectural structure, from which you will also able to enjoy one of the finest views over the city.
