About this property

Surrounded by vineyards, open spaces and country roads leading to premium wineries, Shandon Oaks is a quiet retreat. The private cottage is located just over a mile from the Sonoma Plaza, home to the mission, barracks, restaurants, cafes and tasting rooms. We are just as close to four of Sonoma’s most famous, historic wineries.

You'll enjoy outdoor garden seating under shady sycamores and views of Mt. Veeder. Inside, the cottage is fitted with a kitchenette, home theatre with 60" screen, surround sound, Xfinity cable, Apple TV box streaming. WiFi 500 to 600+ mbps.

All the creature comforts are included - fluffy towels, puffy comforter and high thread count sheets. Microwave, coffeemaker, kettle, toaster, small under-counter refrigerator with ice maker, coffee and teas are stocked for you. However, it is NOT A FULL KITCHEN. No stove or oven. Clawfoot tub with shower, not walk-in. NOT suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Beautiful Sonoma stay

Beautiful property and Joe was so easy to communicate with! We loved the back patio and the visits from Joe's adorable dog.

Quiet, relaxing and great location.

Joe’s cottage was perfect for our 3 night stay in Sonoma. Very comfortable king size bed. Kitchenette is small, but all we needed for breakfast, coffeemaker, toaster and micro. Nicely decorated. I would warn anyone with mobility issues, like me needing knee surgery, this is not a walk in shower. It’s a beautiful claw foot tub with shower. Unit is nicely decorated. Highly recommend.

Cozy & charming getaway

Our stay was amazing. Loved the patio/garden and enjoyed a glass of wine outside. The house was decorated so beautifully. A very quiet neighborhood and a wonderful host.
