A comfortable, inviting home, perfect for our last minute visit to Oregon
We had an unexpected trip to Medford arise and we needed to make arrangements for travel in one day. The request to book here was promptly responded to and they worked with us to have it open and clean when we arrived the next day. What wonderful hosts who are available to talk but also give you space and privacy. The kitchen was better stocked than any accommodation we have stayed in. I made wonderful dinners that we enjoyed on the patio. Thank you for helping us in a stressful time by providing such a warm and welcoming home in a beautiful setting.
Beautiful farm setting but near attractions and shopping.
We stayed here for three weeks while visiting the area to help our daughter and son-in-law with their new baby in nearby Medford. A great place to retreat to after a busy day. Even though you feel like you are in the country, it is a very short trip to Medford or Ashland. Our hosts were welcoming and the cottage is well-equipped. We enjoyed watching the farm animals and the great views of the mountains. Would definitely stay here again.
Quiet, peaceful with respectful owners
We wanted peace and quiet with dependable WiFi, we got that. Was interesting spending time together without a TV
Thank you for taking such good care of our cottage & for letting us know about lamp. Also, thank you for watering plants by front door.
Great setting and comfortable.
This was just the ticket to a comfortable retreat while attending Ashland's Shakespeare Festival.
Charming stay in the country but so close to everything
The Farmhouse Cottage was a great setting for a quiet stay in the Medford area. It's only a few minutes from I-5, making it very convenient for all of our day trip excursions. The farm fresh eggs that were available to us made for a great breakfast each morning, as well. I also loved that there was no TV in the cottage, giving us a chance to unplug and unwind. Stephen and Jeanette were delightful hosts and I highly recommend that you give them a visit if you're in the area.
The perfect country setting outside of Ashland!
We stayed in this charming cottage rental for a week with our small grandchildren. It was simply idyllic! The kids delighted in feeding the horses carrots each and every day. The horses would see my 4 year old granddaughter approach the fence and they would come running to her. She LOVED it! Our 9 year old grandson was the egg collecter and we had farm fresh eggs EVERY day of our stay! He even logged on a calendar the daily amount. The backyard was a great place to hang out with the kids on the various swings by the gazebo. We had some other family members over 1 night for a big family dinner and we had a great time in the country. Only two drawbacks from our point of view, but they did not affect our stay: no TV (a blessing!) and no oven. We worked around it (I "baked" brownies on the grill!). They turned out great. Having so much room to wander around extended our usable space, as the interior is rather small. We LOVED our vacation at the Farmhouse Cottage.
Centrally located for Shakespearean Festival, Britt Festival, Crater Lake, Rogue River, Mt Ashland ski resort, Table Rock, Mt McLaughlin, Science Works Hands-On Museum [Ashland], Natural Bridge, Medford Rainroad Park, many nearby lakes.
