PLEASE read all info about the rental, to ensure a pleasant stay. 94 Baker Farm Road Port Angeles Washington,Beautiful vacation home in peaceful setting. Master bedroom, queen size bed plus a queen size futon, with large walk in closet and large bathroom. Second bedroom with two twin beds, and large closet. Twin size roll away bed stowed in closet for use if needed. Port a cribs and high chair available upon request. Second bathroom has tub/shower combo. Fully equipped eat in kitchen, with basic food items provided. Large living room, with TV for the DVR player. Den with games and toys and amazing books. Laundry room with needed supplies. Home sits on farm like land with a view of strait of Juan de Fuca and Canada. Quiet setting within a 1/4 mile of horse and ATV trails. 5 miles from city limits, 7 mins from ferry to Victoria Canada. Internet access in guest home. 3 miles from a large grocery store and gas station. The vacation home is a completely separate unit from our main home. It is joined only by a enclosed walk way which will remain locked during your stay. There is a dog on the prop. We have a lock box system to get into the home. IF this is need for you to access the home we will send you the code. In the kitchen there is a notebook with the house rules, please review them first when checking in. We change the code with each new guest. Parking is in front of the home, north side. Please park in front of the rental home by the steps. Only one car can be parked there. If you have a second car you can park in the back of the home by the garage. All children must have an adult with them when outside on the prop. Call 2 hours before arrival. The phone number is provided when you book the home.

About Owner/Manager

please pre advise owner of any guest that will be with you on the property during your stay. NO PETS of any kind. No smoking anywhere on the property. Also PLEASE call owner at 360_477_6934 or 477 9810 at least two hour prior to arrival for check in. Check in after 2pm.Check out 10am If we are unable to check you in, you will be sent a code for the lock box on the front door of the rental. The front door is on the north side of the home(waterside). The numbers on the box needs to be spun from top to bottom to set your code. Line the number up in the middle of the dial, then the whole from of the lock box will open. When checking out leave the key on the kitchen counter.

Clean and Spacious in a Convenient Location for Exploring the Olympic Peninsula

This home met our family's needs (4 of us, 2 younger kids) during our four night stay in June. There is plenty of space and the entire house is spotless. The house is also well equipped with everything we needed for cooking meals, doing laundry, etc. There are also a number of games and toys! Communication with the homeowners was always excellent, and the check-in/check-out was very easy. The home is in a very nice location - a private and secluded (very quiet) neighborhood amongst horse farms, but only minutes to the town center and park entrance. The mountains/National Park are actually right behind the home, and you can see the water out the front. I do wish the home had outdoor seating so that we could enjoy the great location and views. The tap water did have a bit of a sulfur smell to it, as I am guessing it's well water, but it was not unbearable. Also, the master bed mattress could be replaced as it's a bit soft. All in all, we had a great stay and really enjoyed the home. We were happy to come back to it each day after exploring the many wonders of the peninsula.

Suited our needs but could use some work

We needed 2 bathrooms and got them - kitchen chairs definitely need sliders on the bottom as the screeching every time we moved our chairs was horrendous - it was clean and the location to Olympic National Park was very good - we put on 1800 miles in 12 days but never had to go more than 3 hours to reach our destination - didn’t care for being attached to the owners home as we had to watch them enjoy the amenities with family and friends each evening right outside our window - truly enjoyed having a commercial washer and dryer, as that saved us time but they are both extremely noisy machines - we were picky about finding the right place and most rentals only had one bathroom so we took what we needed - the beds could all use replacement but I know it is costly - however, a large frying pan in the kitchen would be a good thing as we wasted one egg every morning that was stuck to the bottom of the pan and went in the garbage - I would also appreciate something that says we can recycle as we recycle everything possible at home - we treat the homes we rent on VRBO as our own and have rented some amazing places - this was sufficient for our needs, but sliders on chairs, fixing the hinge on the kitchen cupboard door by the garbage, a nice frying pan for the kitchen, cleaning the jets in the bathtub, and better beds would make a big difference.

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your stay. Interesting review. The amenities you refer to is our private back yard. It clearly states that the rental home is attached to the main residence. The home rules clearly indicate that the renter notify the owner for any concerns during their stay, that policy was not followed. The rest of your concerns could of been addressed if done so. The beds are 4 yrs old with a recent new foam topper placed in the master. Not sure what to say about your dislike for one of the 5 frying pans in the home, and chairs making noise on the floor when you slide them across. VRBO has been notified about the review. i

Great property

Ever stop at Macdonald's to get a few packs of catsup and some sugar because your vrbo property has nothing? Not here! The property had everything you could want for staples. Never have we stayed in a place so well provisioned. Large rooms, great location for seeing the sights, we'd come back for sure

This is a great house, but....

I want to begin by saying that this is a large, lovely, clean house. My complaint is that the bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. My husband's back hurt so badly in the morning that we didn't stay the 2nd night that we'd already paid for. Also, the couch looked nice but provided no support and you sunk down almost to the floor when sitting down. In summary, I would say that this house is perfect unless you want to sit down or sleep.

Nice accommodations. We enjoyed our stay.

The only downside to the property is that there is no outside seating for the renters. My husband I like staying at places like this to enjoy the outside environment during a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. Although the host has a nice area outside, guests do not have access to it.

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your stay. The whole property is clearly for guest use except the private fenced backyard and playground. There are walking paths thru the 6 acres that the home rules indicate are for guests to enjoy. Also included on the home rule info sheet is info on hundred of miles of hiking trails within a 5 min walk if the home.
