Spacious Parlor (2nd Floor) One Bedroom Apartment on Abercorn St

This adorable centrally located one bedroom apartment has a luxurious King bed in the bedroom, a Queen pullout sofa in the expansive Living Room, private laundry, a well stocked kitchen, a dining table that seats 4 and a private reserved parking spot!

For any additional vehicles, all day street parking is best handled with a Visitors Day Parking Pass from the City of Savannah Visitors Center.

This location is in a gorgeous prime spot in Savannah's busy Historic District, making the parking spot highly valuable. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and tourist attractions!

PLEASE NOTE as of April 2017 the new luxury hotel they are constructing behind this home is getting closer to completion but will be worked on for several more months. Please note that, especially late sleepers or those who want to stay home during the day may be bothered by the construction truck noises. They are permitted to start as early as 7am per commercial district ordinances. We apologize for this inconvenience. We do provide white noise (noise cancelation) machines to lessen the construction sounds.

Note: This is on the St Patrick's Day parade route and has a private parking spot. We do NOT allow arrivals or departures on March 17th due to the parade festivities. To book during that event one must check in on a day before the parade day, this applies to EVERY year. The parade is always the 17th of March regardless of the day of the week, unless the 17th falls on a Sunday in which case (on those years) the parade is the Saturday before. Rates are elevated during that holiday.

We have cable TV and free wifi.

Check in time is 3:00pm or later. Checkout is by 11:00am. No smoking.

'The Public Kitchen and Bar' at 1 W Liberty is 0.2 miles away or a 4 minute stroll. They serve gourmet local cuisine, designer cocktails, wine & cheese, steaks, burgers and vegetarian items.

'J Christopher's' is a yummy breakfast, brunch and lunch spot. It is only 266 feet from this apartment so roll out of bed and beat the crowd to this popular weekend brunch spot.

'The Beer Growler' at 102 E Liberty offers microbrews on draft that you can buy and take home in one of their reusable growler jugs. It's not a bar so you can't sit inside but you can walk back to your apartment 463 feet away and enjoy a beer at home.

'BT Byrd's' also at 102 E Liberty is 463 feet from this apartment. They serve coffee, hand crafted soda, baked goods and gourmet cookies.

'Red Clover' Boutique at 244 Bull St is 0.2 miles away or a 4 minute stroll. This unique independent store offers ladies apparel, locally made items (often including soaps and lip balms), accessories and shoes. The prices are amazing and the styles offer something for everyone!

There is no need to drive to the many destinations within the Historic District but if you take the car to Tybee Island or another driving destination you will love having your private parking spot upon your return.

We LOVED the location!!! Every site we wanted to see was within walking distance! Really roomy accommodations, and really neat to stay in an older building — it got us into the Savannah ‘mood’. Will definitely want to stay here again!

Great Stay

My 2 friends and I came down for a girls weekend. The property was close to everything and very clean and neat with everything we needed. It was easy to get access into the apartment. The king bed and the pullout couch was very comfortable. The parking spot was big enough for our big SUV. No complaints at all and will definitely book for this location or any others with this company when coming back down.

Location is everything!

We stayed 4 nights and this property is everything we expected from the description. It was a little confusing finding it to begin with, but after circling the block and finding the proper alley, we made it to our parking space. Construction on a building behind this property began early in the morning and there was noise and a mess the whole time we were there, but since we didn't need our car after arriving, we tried to ignore the bedlam. The courtyard from the parking space to the back stairs needs lots of work, but until the construction crews are gone, there isn't any need to fix it up. Inside, we found the bed was firm with wonderful soft linens, excellent pillows and a lovely spread. Extra pillows and blankets were available in the armoire. Bathroom towels were plentiful and plush and the water pressure in the shower was great. Kitchen had all appliances one could need as well as washer and dryer. The living room was very comfortable and the central heat & air worked great. We would have liked to know more about the age of the home and any history; however, the decorations & furniture were perfect for a Savannah home. Area rugs were so nice on those wide-plank floors and lighting was pretty good. Would have been nice to have a good reading lamp near sofa, but not necessary. So many restaurants to choose from, so much to see & do and all within walking distance. Perfection! We would definitely stay here again if we had the chance.

Great room and the best location in town

The room was perfect. Mary was very accommodating and answered all our questions. Very spacious room, great bed and we had our own private parking spot (hard to do in Savanna). Would stay there again and tell all or friends.

Wonderful Rental in Beautiful Savannah

This rental was perfect for our Savannah vacation. The rental was in a wonderful location within walking distance to much of historic Savannah. The apartment was very clean and my grand-daughter and I felt safe staying there. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed watching the Clydesdale drawn carriages pass by the front window.

I was concerned about the construction going on in the rear of the unit, but it did not disturb us as we were out most of the day and the workers ceased working at a reasonable hour in the early evening. It was nice to have an assigned parking spot in the rear of the apartment. I did have a small inconvenience getting to the spot on occasion due to construction trucks and equipment blocking the entrance to the parking pad. The workers moved them in a reasonable amount of time. The restaurant known as The Hitch is within walking distance and I encourage anyone staying here to dine there. We also walked To Leopold's Ice Cream Parlor which will be 100 years in business next year,. It is well worth a visit. Colonial Park Cemetery is directly across from this unit and is a must-visit if you love history. According to the book we read in the apartment Union soldiers camped there and changed many of the carvings on the tomb stones. I loved the unit and would gladly recommend it if you, like I, enjoy staying in a historic building with all of its nuances.

Another great stay

Enjoyed staying at this property again. The bathroom is starting to show its age and could use some refreshing, and the rear courtyard could use some work, but still a great experience. Great location, great ambience and a great stay overall.
