A marvellous place to stay.

This property was even better than expected. It is in a fabulous location: near a tram stop, near the river, near the outlet stores, near the city - but not too close. We were met by our hosts who showed us through the apartment, pointing out the various things it offers. I really like to meet hosts rather than just be given a key. It puts the place into context. The apartment itself is well designed, elegant and has every possible home comfort. The Sunday food market is virtually across the road and it is great to shop then come home for lunch. It is in an historic building and the entrance behind an ordinary set of wooden doors , opens to an amazing long, stone floored corridor, secured by fabulous gates and a delightful courtyard. The apartment then is up a beautiful wide stone stairway which is a joy to climb. We hope to return to this beautiful, well appointed apartment.

Comfortable and welcoming apartment in Bordeaux.

Thank you Nicole & daughter Caroline for warmly welcoming us. Your meeting us & introduction to parking & the apartment gave us such a good start to getting to know Bordeaux. We so enjoyed the comforts of the apartment and closeness to shops the tram and walks to the city centre and public garden for morning walks. Thank you for the fans in the hot summer.

Beautiful apartment in a lovely area of Bordeaux

NIcole and Jacques are excellent hosts and it was a pleasure to meet them. They made us feel very welcome and kindly provided assistance to us when we arrived and departed. The apartment is furnished with beautiful furniture and fittings and we really enjoyed our holiday staying there. The kitchen is well set up with everything you need if you want to cook and their are good restaurants nearby if not. The apartment was extremely clean and the photos on the Internet are an accurate picture of what it looks like. We would highly recommend this apartment.
