About Schulzie Roland

I am a generational New Orleanian and the French side of my family has been in this amazing city for over 300 years as part of the Founding Fathers of New Orleans. I love this city and its unique characteristics and care about your experience; I want you to have an amazing time in New Orleans; I genuinely care!... and I assure you this property can help facilitate that, the rest is up to you.

Why Schulzie Roland chose New Orleans

The property was built in 1875 after the Civil War and has only change ownership 5 times in that time period. It boasts 12 ft ceilings, hard wood floors, a balcony overlooking the Avenue, beautiful landscaping, and an absolutely brilliant location.

What makes this apartment unique

I have a property manager who is available to make sure your experience is smooth and exceptional. From booking to cleaning, she manages the entire experience and insures you have everything you need to truly enjoy New Orleans. I have a great ice maker and wet bar so please feel free to bring alcohol and mixers, bring your favorite cocktails and enjoy on the balcony on the Avenue.

Location, location, location!

  • 5 of 5

Some people like to stay in the French Quarter, but if you really want to experience all that Nola has to offer, you will want to stay in this Uptown location. Just steps from the trolly, you can easily travel to the Quarter, the park, Tulane or anywhere else you wish to go in no time at all. This wonderful apartment had everything I needed for a week's stay, and Schulzie was the perfect hostess! I was able to walk to Magazine Street, and do a little shopping during my stay, and there were several good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks Schulzie!

Charming, renovated mansion

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the upstairs apartment of this building while our family stayed downstairs. It was the perfect place for a family vacation. Lots of space, beautifully renovated, charming courtyard garden, great location. We would unreservedly recommend this apartment, especially if you are with a large group and can rent the whole house.

Thank you Schulzie for a wonderful stay!

Can't Wait to Return!

  • 5 of 5

Everything about this experience from the booking request to the return of our deposit was easy and without any added frustration. Schulzie is absolutely wonderful and was very accommodating, making us feel welcome and at home from the second we stepped onto the property. The property is everything you expect when you envision the quintessential New Orleans, St. Charles home. The neighborhood is safe, well lit, and we also noticed multiple private security details patrolling the area. The home and grounds are well keep and the apartment itself is also clean and neat. The bedding is extremely comfortable with high quality linens and pillows. We honestly have no complaints with the property, and we loved Schulzie. We will definitely be recommending this property to our friends, as well as planning a return visit ourselves.

Beautiful home and neighbirhood

  • 5 of 5

We loved this place and would stay again.

Home is super clean and very charming.

Plenty of room and comfortable beds. Easy access to nearby restaurants, shopping and coffee. We walked into town every morning.

We were greeted immediately and had everything we needed. Even given suggestions for restaurants that we loved. My family said they much preferred staying here than any hotel. We would stay here again!

A beautiful place to stay in the Garden District

  • 5 of 5

I very much enjoyed staying in this apartment over the weekend. While the house is a couple hundred years old, it has been well kept and updated over the years. There were five in my party staying upstairs, and we were all comfortable. The only downside is that there is only one restroom.
