Even nicer than expected!

  • 5 of 5

We arrived hours earlier than scheduled and were delighted that Warren was able to accommodate us and even give us a ride into town for lunch before our rental car was ready. The house was even more beautiful than pictured, and our group of 4 adults and two kids had plenty of room to spread out. I would highly recommend the properties managed by Warren and Tidewater; they are a trustworthy property management company with good communication with owners and renters. Great experience in Gig Harbor!

This was the perfect place to stay for a family vacation.

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our recent trip to Gig Harbor. The home was beautiful, and close enough to be able to see all the sites we wished to see. The deck was oh so relaxing and had a beautiful view. The large kitchen allowed for many home cooked meals and also offered a beautiful view. It's a perfect location to go for walks, and just a short drive to any sites you'd like to see. I already want to go back!

1st Class Stay!!!

  • 5 of 5

I’ve stayed at lots of beautiful vacation rentals over the years, this place was the very best. It was a pleasure staying at this waterfront house. It's located in a quiet area on the northern reaches of Gig Harbor. I didn't bring my kayak, but I wish I had, as it's a perfect launch area. A big fir tree nearby houses an eagle's nest and it was fun to watch him hunting fish while crows try to escort him from the neighborhood. From the house you can walk or jog along the harbor’s west side of town that features restaurants, parks, shops & boat rentals. The home has a great deck, beautiful yard on the water, and lots of southwest facing windows to catch the sun, and a beautiful & spacious interior. I hope to stay here again.

Washington State

Neighborhood resident

  • 5 of 5

We have an annual Thanksgiving family gathering, bringing four siblings and their families together from DC, Chicago and Washington state. This home was a perfect location for our Thanksgiving celebration! Beautiful, elegant and spacious, the large kitchen with its expansive counters provided plenty of room for preparing the feast and visiting. The kitchen is well-appointed with the tools needed to prepare and serve a large group, and the dining room table is also accommodating.

Another plus is that two of the bedrooms are at the opposite end of the house from the main living area, which allows those who want to go to bed early or sleep in the option of doing so. The master suite, meanwhile, is expansive and comfortable.

And then there's the view--fabulous! My family got to watch eagles, harbor seals and tide changes while sitting by the fire, and to take walks in the neighborhood to take in even more beautiful views of Gig Harbor. We also walked to the Finholm District of town for some great meals, including at Marketplace Grill.

Because we were there in November, we weren't able to take advantage of the patio and back yard, which are also lovely and would be a real treat in warm weather.

I highly recommend this home!

Needs some attention

  • 1 of 5

Showed up at the property (my 91 year old grandmother was supposed to stay for a week). The house was 87 degrees inside. It was stifling hot. I know A/C is not common here but when I went to open the windows.... NO SCREENS! Not on one window in the whole home. This is a safety issue for many reasons. Closet doors were not on tracks so the doors just swing... another safety issue. The owner had their own personal clothes and shoes taking up a large portion of the closet. (have never seen owners leave their clothes, etc. out on a vacation rental). The garage was locked... no access at all. In the fridge, the shelves on the door were FULL of the owner's stuff, the top shelf was also full, and the bottom drawer in was full of potatoes. The property manager was fast to respond and did give us a full refund BUT it ended up being an entire week where our grandmother had to bounce from place to place and she was exhausted. These owners have some work to do to justify their price.

Owner's Response: The house is not advertised with Air Conditioning. For future guests, please contact us if you are having trouble using the house fans and ceiling fans which cool this waterfront home beautifully. All house windows have screens available. A previous guest had wanted them removed for more of an outdoor/indoor feel. Out of the 14 homes we manage, the garage is never part of a guests access. The private driveway provides ample parking. Thanks for the heads up for the closet door rails. Brand new carpeting was just recently installed throughout the house, and the lower track on a few closets didn’t get re-installed at the time this guest checked in. The walk in closet in the master bedroom is huge and the homeowner has provided tons of empty space for guest usage. All other closets are completely empty. Regarding the refrigerator, there are plenty of squeezable condiments in the fridge for guest use, if you need extra space or don’t want to use any food, we can toss, or donate. The homeowner’s 93 year old mother loves visiting the house in the summer, and sitting outside under the awning. Heat is not a factor with the indoor/outdoor feel of the house. We tried to make things right with this guest, but it was a challenge as this guest was unreasonable and belligerent. When this guest insisted we purchase air conditioning for her stay we let her know this wasn’t going to happen. Please call if any issues arise, we want you to have an enjoyable trip to lovely Gig Harbor. Please take time to read our other reviews for a an accurate description of this house.
