The apartment is situated at the last floor of an ancient building in the centre of Pest, the so called “Broadway” or theatre road, a crossroad of Andrassy avenue, an elegant boulevard included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. From the windows you can enjoy a wonderful panorama: the dome of the Cathedral, the roof of the Opera House and Buda’s hill with the Royal Palace. During the day the apartment is full of sun and light, while in the evening you can see the illuminated monuments standing out in the sky. The apartment is situated in a central and animated zone; nearby you have: the Opera House, the Operetta and the most important theatres, Liszt Music Academy, café, restaurants and fancy shops. The apartment is consisting of a living room with double sofa bed, a sleeping room with double bed, a totally equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. The restoration was completed in 2010.
After discovering the wonderful architectural heritage of Budapest and the character of the city it would be a real pity not to stay in one of these "traditional" apartment buildings with its period design features and furniture. Greatly enjoyed the city and the apartment. I enjoy cooking when I'm away and this was a great kitchen also.

My family and I had a wonderful week in Budapest. The apartment is well situated nearby Opera. Bus and Metro station are within 500 m. Also supermarkets and a couple of restaurants are close-by . The apartment was clean and well maintained. The service was perfect. Bed-linen, towels and final cleaning were included.
We would book this apartment once more and will recommend it to friends who intend to spent some days in Budapest.
The appartment is very well located - right in the city centre and close to all the main attractions of Budapest - with an exceptional view towards Buda. The appartment is nicely furbished and has everything what one needs. I can only recommend people to stay at this place.
we spent a wonderful week in Budapest. The apartment's central location is perfect, with shops and cafes etc nearby. The flat itself is very spacious for two people and very light due to the large windows. We liked the fact that it's modernised but retains some character. It had all we could possibly need for a week and we'd definitely recommend it. Thanks to Niki for the friendly reception.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. All kitchen amenities were provided. The building common areas are clean and well-lit. The view over the rooftops is lovely, especially at night. The property is situated in the theater neighborhood, handy to the opera house, shopping, restaurants and public transportation. We enjoyed the music festival in the street in September.
The property manager, Niki was friendly and helpful and responsive to our every need.
The only negative was the occasional late-night noise from patrons of the bars nearby, which is a small problem in warmer weather when windows are open. We got used to this however, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
"This apartment was light, bright and airy, comfortable and spacious. The owners were very pleasant, helpful and accommodating to deal with and we (Georgia and Carl) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here."
From the apartment you can visit by feet the most important monuments, you are right in the cultural centre of the city. Very easy to move by public transportation: the three subway lines (Opera or Deak ter) and the main tramway lines are nearby (Oktogon).
As everybody knows, the city is rich of history and culture and there are many museums and monuments to visit, for anybody inclination and taste. You cannot leave Budapest if you haven’t visited (in any season) at least one of the thermal spa that are all over the city: it will be a bath of comfort and also an opportunity to observe the customs of the inhabitants and share with them this fantastic occasion of relax. Further suggestion concerns gastronomy: Budapest is well-known for excellent cooking and is full of elegant restaurants and traditional ones. In the surroundings of the apartment there are many different options: the elegant and frequented restaurants of Listz square and Andrassy avenue or the traditional places in the Jewish district nearby, and also the places where the young and students go, to listen music and inquire about the trendy cultural events. Also, we suggest to visit the city renting a bike: in Budapest there are plenty of cycle tracks. It will be a different way to get in touch with the city, to go through less known routes and discover the characteristic architecture and many hidden enchanting spots.
