THE SEA STAR - Great Beach Escape

Our wonderful beach house has a unique, multi-level layout. With 3 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa, the house can accommodate up to 6 guests. We love to cook and the kitchen was recently completely remodeled and is well equipped for great meals. The centerpiece of the cozy living room (and house) is a wonderful fireplace that warms everything up.

Our comfy beach house sits just 2 houses from the dunes and miles of incredible beach. Go razor clamming in season, enjoy beach-0combing, fly a kite, explore seaside towns, take a run on the beach, visit a lighthouse, shuck some oysters or just curl up by the wonderful fireplace with a good book. Our beach house is the perfect spot to enjoy it all!

Sleeping - There are 2 bedrooms off the main floor with a queen-sized bed in each and a QS sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a twin bed and a half-bath downstairs. Bathrooms - The main bathroom, accessed thru the master bedroom, has a wonderful shower with a fantastic skylight. The half-bath is in the lower level. The Levels - There are 2 steps separating the living room area and kitchen as well as up to the master bedroom and bath. There is a stairway leading down the the lower sleeping area (twin bed) and half bath. The house is entered from the lower level and interior stairway or exterior stairs and upper deck. We can accommodate up to 6 people.

Fun and Games - We have Wi-Fi and the tv streams Netflix, Prime video and many other online services. Plus the Sonos audio system includes “Alexa” to stream any song, artist or genre you desire. There are lots of board games for your enjoyment.

We also have a ping pong table in the garage. We have croquet, a corn hole set and bocce ball for the yard. We have kites and beach chairs in the garage for your use.

We provide a gas BBQ. If oysters are on the menu, go up to Oysterville and get world-famous Willapa Bay oysters fresh off the boat. We have shucking knives at the ready and a great outdoor cleaning table. Serve them as shooters or hot off the grill for a true northwest feast. #iDigRazorClams

Cozy cottage with modern amenities, at the beach!

Our stay at SeaStar cottage was perfect! Conveniently located between Long Beach and Ocean Park. The seashore is a short, easy walk on a semi-private, sandy trail. ALL the appliances are modern, maintained and in excellent working order. Including the lightbulbs! Our host, Russ, is a rapid responder in communicating information and answering questions. SeaStar has comfortable, themed rooms, a nice sized deck to gather for a BBQ or stargazing and a TIRE SWING with lots of yard for kids to run around and imagineer in, when not at the beach. SeaStar is a cozy cottage to Be at the beach! We loved it!

Great place for a girl’s getaway weekend!!

My dear friend and I met up in Long Beach for a girl’s getaway weekend and it lived up to all of our expectations. The home was lovely and well kept, it was a short walk down a path to the beach and was tucked away in a lovely, quiet little neighborhood. We definitely enjoyed the ability to have a fire inside on our last evening there. Thanks for the great fire starters. Lol. It does have a few stairs scattered throughout the home but they made such great use of the space and everything one could need was supplied. I would definitely recommend this little gem. Debbie

What a quaint and lovely beach house! We felt at home the moment we walked in. Great communication with the host, very clean, wonderfully stocked kitchen, and a short walk to the beach! We had a lovely time and created some wonderful memories! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Cute house close to the beach, Long Beach, Ocean Beach

This is a cute well cared for older beach house in an older modest area that has everything you need for your stay. Very good fully functional remodeled kitchen. You need to know that the way the dunes are, and beach houses in this area, that you can't see the beach or the ocean from the house (although you can hear it) as it is about a 5 minute walk through the dunes to get there. Incredible long beach goes for miles in both directions once you're there. If you're looking for a good, affordable beach house close to the beach and know that it is not La Jolla, it is great. The host provided good recommendations on local attractions and businesses that were right on. We enjoyed it. Recommended.

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend out of town. The cute house and 10 minute walk to the beach made it perfect. We will definitely be back again.

Our family has owned the beach house since 2002. Our daughter was 1 1/2 when we first started coming to the beach. It is her favorite place in the world and she doesn't ever remember the house not being in our family. That's the way it should be.

Why they chose this property

I grew up on the east coast and our family made regular trips to the beach. Those trips are some of my favorite childhood memories. The beach house provides my family and our guests with similar, wonderful opportunities.

What makes this property unique

We're far enough from busy areas to provide a peaceful get-away yet close enough to be part of the area's many fun activities whenever we want. We are steps away from the dunes and 28 miles of incredible beach. You can't ask for more.
