One of our Portland Vacation Homes this is a spacious 560 square foot studio unit located in a charming Victorian home (also a VRBO 478812) with granite counters, and newer appliances. There is a washer and dryer. We offer a cozy living room space to relax after your busy day with a sleeper sofa, flat screen TV , fireplace and air conditioning for those warm days. There is a fully equipped kitchen with stainless range for cooking, microwave and dishwasher. If you are here on business there is wireless internet for your computer (and blue ray). This wonderful vintage style apartment has a quaint open floor plan with your patio table and chairs just outside your door.

This unit is located in a prime location just a 5 minute walk to popular NW 23rd avenue near Thurman with tons of boutiques, home design shops both local and well-known stores, antiques, hiking trails (just blocks from Forest Park), parks, galleries, fabulous restaurants whether for happy hour or fine dining, European bakeries, local micro brews and pubs, coffee shops... just about everything for an enjoyable visit to Portland. It is very close to the street car for quick access to the Pearl District, Willamette River and Downtown also is within walking distance if you are a good walker! The house is located on a quiet dead end street with lots of street parking plus a path at end of street for direct access to Thurman where the coffee shops, French bakeries and boutiques begin. Just a block away is a convenient health conscious urban grocery store for everyday necessities and stocked with local fresh produce. Close to public transit… makes this a great place to stay whether for work or fun!

Fabulous studio type on the bottom of a beautiful Victorian. I

Would absolutely recommend. I rented this for my older parents with the rest of the family in the Victorian above. The studio is immaculately clean with a comfortable bed and a couch facing a nice TV. This kitchen area is truly usable with full sized appliances and a nice table for eating. The room is bright, great outside landscaping and the area quiet. Easy walking distance to one of the "coolest" streets in Portland, per my college age daughter.

I will happily stay here if through Portland in need of a place for one or two.

Great location and great VRBO!

My husband and I had an excellent stay! Easy access to walk to many shops, restaurants, and a nearby bus stop. The rental is clean and plenty of space for 2 people. Comfy bed, washer dryer available, and Becky was very nice. I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice

My friend and I were traveling with my two teenage daughters and booked this property for a two night stay. Here's what we loved:

1. The unit was clean and well appointed.

2. The owner provided plenty coffee, filters, cream and sugar. Yay!

3. Plenty of towels and toiletries were available as well.

4. It was a quiet spot but just a block or two away from some great restaurants.

5. We had an issue, and the owner was very quick to respond and generous in her solution.

6. There is a stackable washer and dryer in the bathroom and the owner provided several detergent pods. We really needed to do some laundry, so this was super helpful!

I went back and forth on four versus five stars - I wish I could have done 4 and a half! But we did feel like the unit was too tight for four people. With the bed pulled out, there was no room for luggage or to walk around. If you are two people traveling, this is an awesome option. If there are three or four of you, and you have any luggage beyond a duffel bag, this might not be your best bet. We were on a two week long road trip, so we each had a midsized suitcase. It was too much :'(

Clean, quaint, charming, fantastic location, comfortable beds

We actually rented both the house and studio for a family trip. Location was very easy to get to and there’s a lot to do near by. The house was fantastic and charming, a great place for all of us to gather together for morning coffee on the deck or enjoy a drink at the end of the day. All really enjoyed our stay. Beds are very comfortable!!!!

I would defiantly stay here again,

The studio was clean and though compact, quite comfortable and attractive, both inside and out. A very lovely place to come back to after a day of site seeing in the city or surrounding areas of Portland.

The neighborhood itself is being well maintained and renovated which was nice to see from what I remember it being like in the 60’s when we lived here.

The location was excellent-close to the bus and trolley lines and very easy access to any of the major freeways out of town.

A few suggestions for consideration might be:

At least 1 ice tray (to go along w/the Martini shaker)

A few more cereal spoons

More kitchen linens including dish rags

Full length mirror (for the ladies)

Otherwise, the interior was immaculate (the wardrobe was a challenge, stuffed so full of bedding the door wouldn’t close and consequently not much room to hang cloths). Furniture was updated

AND COMFORTABLE and good looking.

Two grocery stores close by. Food Front just a block away and New Season Market 10 minute walk.

Just a few blocks to Portland Streetcar .....Streetcars run on two lines, the NS Line and the CL Line. The first, the NS Line, is a 4-mile one-way route from Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital at NW 23rd Avenue, on Lovejoy and Northrup, through the Pearl District and on 10th and 11th Avenues to SW Mill and SW Market Streets, Portland State University Urban Center, SW Harrison Street, RiverPlace, OHSU, the Aerial Tram and to a terminus at SW Lowell & Bond at the South Waterfront District. The second, the CL Line, is a 4.65-mile one way route from SW Market along 10th and 11th to the Pearl District, across the Broadway Bridge, along Broadway, Weidler, 7th, MLK and Grand to the Rose Quarter, Lloyd District, Convention Center, Central Eastside and OMSI

Reservation cancellations - - 100% 30 days notice 50% with 15 days notice.
Lodging Tax Account 90875 which requires us to collect lodging tax. We are legal with the City of Portland lodging regulations so guests are guaranteed of their reservations. If you are booking by the month or more than 30 days disregard the occupancy tax that is automated when given a quote.

  • 50% refund if cancelled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival date.
