Fabulous studio type on the bottom of a beautiful Victorian. I

  • 5 of 5

Would absolutely recommend. I rented this for my older parents with the rest of the family in the Victorian above. The studio is immaculately clean with a comfortable bed and a couch facing a nice TV. This kitchen area is truly usable with full sized appliances and a nice table for eating. The room is bright, great outside landscaping and the area quiet. Easy walking distance to one of the "coolest" streets in Portland, per my college age daughter.

I will happily stay here if through Portland in need of a place for one or two.

Couldn't have been more convenient.

  • 5 of 5

This studio was a perfect size for me and my wife (pics don't do it justice). Comfortable set up with everything we needed. We had a rental car and it was very convenient that they provided a parking pass for the private street (had zero issues finding a spot). Great location that is walking distance to cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. Would 100% use again.

Perfect place for a weekend in Portland!

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect place for our weekend in Portland. Great location, easy to find parking, effortless check-in & check-out, lots of walkable places nearby. Would definitely book it again.

Only downside was we could pretty easily hear sound (footsteps, furniture moving, conversations) from the unit above in the mornings. It wasn't too loud though and not at an unreasonably early time so not a big deal.

Disappointing

  • 1 of 5

When we arrived (4pm) place had not yet been cleaned.

We called Becky + she coordinated getting placed cleaned while we went shopping.

We returned around 5pmsh + it was cleaned.

WIFI not working first 2 days. Becky attended to it + it was better next few days.

One night very noisy very late at night.

I'd pick somewhere else to stay.

Location is good-near everything-just too many issues. I only listed major ones above

Owner's Response: This was a difficult visit and I tried my best to make him comfortable. The guest arrived early without letting me know so the studio was not ready. The housekeepers were working on the unit upon his arrive and we had it ready within the next 30 minutes. If guests arrive early they usually ask and I will check with the housekeepers to try and accommodate. In regards to the WiFi it was working as checked with my device as soon as the guest let me know. He was not able to get his Nexflix account to work on the TV not the WiFi on his phone or computer. He then said the WiFi was slow. So after rebooting the modem and calling Comcast twice determine perhaps my modem was outdated. So that day went to the Comcast sales office and picked up the latest model! I try my best to make all my guest happy and comfortable but this was a challenge! Hopefully those who read this unfortunate review will look further and see this was an unusual visit. Thank you, Becky

Cute and Comfy Studio

  • 4 of 5

The studio looks very much like the photos advertised - very cute and cozy. The location was a quite a few blocks from the busiest part of Adorable 23rd Street, but we enjoyed finding a few new restaurants/shops that we hadn't been to before. We got our exercise in since we relied on public transportation. The studio was great to come back to and relax- & the bed ( though awkward to get into) was very comfortable once you got in! Kitchen appeared to be well stocked, although we just used for coffee and snacks. The Studio does get quite a. It if noise from the upstairs foot traffic ( heavy feet?) but it quieted down during sleep hours so it was ok.

Price was reasonable for the area and we would definitely rent again. The host Becky was very responsive and accommodating to requests. Thanks for the cute accommodation!
