Enjoy your vacation with the best view of Lake Tahoe. This 4 bedroom 3 bathroom log cabin sits atop Zephyr Heights and has views of Heavenly Ski resort and the lake. Relax in the hot tub after a day at the beach or after a day of skiing. There is a BBQ on the deck along with patio furniture, the perfect place to BBQ with the family and watch the sunset over the lake. The two car garage is available for the renters. Two minutes from Zephyr Cove beach, four minutes to Heavenly Valley ski resort and four minutes to the casinos. On the level with the deck is the mail living area with kitchen, living room, dining area, a full shared bathroom, BR1 queen and BR2 is a small bedroom with a twin bed. Upstairs is the BR3 master bedroom with a king and a full bathroom, BR4 with a queen & a twin with a full bathroom. The laundry area is also on this level. Both of these bedrooms have a door out to a balcony overlooking the lake.

Occupancy:

1. Per county rules: Weddings are NOT allowed of any kind or size, on the property or at the house. You will be shut down immediately and will lose the security deposit and will be subject to more fines.

2. You are only allowed 10 persons at any time at the house. There is sleeping for 8. This includes any diners or gatherings you may have.

3. 5 cars allowed at house at any time. There is no street parking per county and fire safety rules. Failure to comply will result in loss of security deposit.

4. Please help us to keep our home a vacation rental. NOISE ORDINANCE 10:00pm TO 7:00am DAILY and is very strict in this neighborhood.

~~~In the winter we keep all of the deck furniture in the garage and it is not available for use. Because of winds and snow we must store the furniture.

Our trip was a ski trip, even though the snow was just ok, the home was amazing and made our trip worth it. The house was clean, better than adverted (there are new couches), the manager was very easy to get a hold of, check in and check out was very easy. The view from the house was probably the best in the neighborhood by far!!! We all loved and enjoyed our stay in the house and would love to come back this summer. We will definitely recommend this one to our friends.

The property is nice with some caveats. The driveway is very steep and off camber. This would make it nearly impossible to access in moderate to heavy snowfall. There is no off-street parking. It seems as if the entire development is suffering from erosion, including this property. Unfortunate for a house with spectacular views.

Owner's Response: Thank you for staying with us. Having the amazing panoramic views of the lake is an amazing feature of this home. Yes the home is at the top of a steep driveway, you must be a the top of the hill to get those views :)

My son, wife and I came here for Thanksgiving, so we cooked and stayed around the cabin a lot. I found the cabin very attractive from a log cabin point of view. I loved the rock work around the fireplace and the exposed logs for interior walls. They gave the cabin a very homey feel. And the view was indescribably beautiful. What I found to the negative were mostly cosmetic and maintenance items. The master bed is so low it’s like a mattress on the floor. There were several lights out and no bulbs were left to replace them with. There were no TV’s in the bedrooms, so everyone had to agree on what to watch. The two upstairs bedrooms could use a sitting chair and lamp in each of them. The clock in the kitchen had a dead battery. None of the glasses matched (and there were precious few of them), except for the wine glasses. The kitchen had a mish-mash of random pots, pans and bowls. And they were dirty. Make sure you wash them before you use them. There was no salt & pepper shakers, nor was there a corkscrew. The furniture was pretty dirty and there was no fireplace hardware (poker, scoop, broom). Several storm doors were missing glass, or just missing. And, finally, the place could use a deep cleaning. Vent grills were just dirty, as were the fans in the upstairs bedrooms. With all that said, I would come back. I love the location. I’d just want it to be a little cleaner and the cupboards and cabinets to be better stocked.

Owner's Response: Thank you for staying with us. The new owners of this home have done updating. As of January 2018 there are new couches in the living room, new pots and pans and a few new kitchen items like plates & glasses. We do hope this helps any future guests.
