Wonderful French experience
We came from Australia with 5 friends to ride the bike routes in the Chateau region. Bracieux is a lovely small village but has everything you need. Restaurants, small grocery shops, 2 Boulangers, butcher etc. Dominique ‘s house is beautiful with a private garden to relax in after returning home from a tiring day. It has good amenities eg washer, drier, big stove, fridge etc to cater for a large group. Also bathroom & toilet on both floors. Bravo from 7 very happy Australians
Wonderful location....close to chateaus!!
This location is close to many chateaus! Also, Bracieux is a charming town. A bakery just a few steps away with the most heavenly smell of bread baking in the morning! A local grocery story just steps away as well for all the essentials. The house is delightful and big enough for any traveling family! Easy check in and out process!
An exquisite and authentic French house in a friendly French village
Loved this place. It has all you need and its location is so very nice with the locals as warm as you can get. All amenities provided and the host Dominique is charming and extremely helpful.
Centre of the Loire Valley, castles in abundance and vineyards located in almost every village. The air is so so fresh in this part of the country and the roads superb. Lots to see but I have to again give a big thumbs up for this property. Photos do not show its charm. Highly recommend.
I thank you very much.
I hope you had a fine trip back. It was nice welcoming you. See you another time maybe.
Perfectly situated home in the Loire Valley
House is well appointed with great spaces for friends and family to gather inside and outside. Kitchen has all the equipment you need. Bracieux is situated close to many of the big castles in the Valley (Chambord, Blois, Cheverny) and others are easily reached by car or long bike rides. The town has everything you need, as long as you don't arrive looking for a local grocery store in Sunday. Linens cost extra to rent. The host is knowledgeable about the local area.
wonderful home and owner!!! highly recommended.
Dominique the owner is lovely and very helpful, answering our many questions and emails promptly.
The house and garden are beautiful and well appointed with everything needed during our stay (we travelled with our 8 month old son) and a good mix of character features and modern kitchen/bathrooms.
Proximity to the loire chateau's and surrounding area is great, there is much to visit within a short distance.
An enjoyable relaxing stay in great surroundings, we will return again soon.
Lovely property in central village location
Had a lovely stay here with an all adult family party. The kitchen was well equipped although work surface area was quite small but adaquate for a holiday stay. The lounge was particularly grand with its high vaulted ceiling. The garden was lovely and peaceful after a busy day visiting chateaus. Overall would thoroughly recommend to any visitor to this part of France. Also must mention Dominic who was also very helpful and always responded promptly to any questions we may have had. Just a very minor issue, was 1 or 2 spare/ extra pillows and some hand towels included in the linen hire would have been welcomed.
