Photos and Description of this Raposeira holiday farmhouse

Real countryside in the national park. Excellent location 2 minutes stroll to the village centre with its ever popular Pizza Pazza & traditional restaurant & bar.

Pedralva was rebuilt virtually from scratch, the rustic houses in the village are now a beautiful reminder of times past, cobbled streets, bright shutters & white washed walls.

Our farmhouse is a minute from the village down a track that leads to just a few houses. There's a large raised terrace that surrounds the whole house, with a utility area & BBQ. Inside there's a large open plan living room/ kitchen area. There are 3 bedrooms; a large bedroom with en- suite (sleeps 2), another large bedroom (sleeps 2), a further bedroom with bunk beds & 2 x single beds (sleeps 4).

Shower room/ w.c located between bedrooms.

See photos, really sympathetically constructed house with traditional tiled floor throughout & wooden roof.

Housekeeper not with it

This housekeeper is far too expensive for what it offers. No one to receive you. You have to wash the bathroom towells yourself with a semi broken washing machine. I stayed 3 weeks. THE bed linen was only changed the 1st saturado. No more. Kitchen appliances really bad except for THE oven. No tv or Wi-Fi. A smsll tv screan and semi broken DVD ( it doesn't eras half the DVD ). No Lightning. Around outside only dry straw earth and dust. No water outside. Garbage disposal 400 m away. Nearest beach 8 km away. No confort inside the house. It doesn't look to have had any care for years. Around dry fields. Sad. Difficult to contact the suposed caretakers. Only saw them the 1st saturday (sheets, once for 3 weeks).
