quelques mets et boissons sont dans le frigo à notre arrivée: il n'y avait plus qu'à profiter...merci Sara!
A little bit tricky to get to but the views are wonderfull!!! The booking was uncomplicated, and although we arrived at about 10pm at the Pedona, Sara was there waiting for us to give us the keys. Very friendly! This house is very big, nice and clean. It is in a great location, the rooms have a wonderful size and the kitchen is fully functional. Sara had left a fridge stocked with food for us to start our stay, it was very nice!! We travelled a lot (Pisa, Lucca, Florence, La Spezia) and spent much of our time on the beach (Lido di Camaiore - 10 km from the house) or on the patio drinking wine :). The shop in Pedona has all you need and is just a 10 minute walk. In Camaiore there are lots of cafes and restaurants plus a well-stocked supermarket. We recommend this house and very friendly hostess!!! Monika, Radek, Basia, Marek and Maurizio ;)
Tricky to get to but well worth it. The views from every window and the patio/garden are fantastic looking across open countryside to the coast. Sara had left a fridge stocked with food for us to start our stay, including cold beers! We spent much of our time on the patio just relaxing. The shop in Pedona has all you need and is just a 10 minute walk. If you drive down to Camaiore at the bottom of the hill there are lots of cafes and restaurants plus a well-stocked supermarket.
The pictures do not do enough justice to this fantastic property. It is very spacious with a lovely garden / terrace.
Sara is incredibly helpful (brought in washing when it rained, provided home grown fruit/veg and best of all - had enough food for us to make a good meal with when we arrived, including cold beer!!!)
The property is at the top of a steep hill with lots of bends and I wish I had taken my bike so I could join the locals in climbing it. On first arrival it is a bit tricky to find - take the road to Pedona from Camaiore. Go through Pedona and pass two more tight bends. At the very top of the hill take a right turn at a sort of crossroads. The property is found after about 100 metres down there.)
I would recommend the place to anyone who wants a peaceful break in a spacious property with stunning views.
My wife, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. The house, located in a quiet small community high up in the mountians of Tuscany, was clean and comfortable. The views from the house and garden, not to mention those you get while driving up the mountain, are spectacular. We never tired of taking pictures! Our host, Sarah, was always nearby but never intrusive and we were pleasantly surprised by the supplies she had on hand for our arrival.
You need a car to enjoy this home. If you are looking for lovely accommodations in a quiet mountain village then you will not be disappointed. The local village (Pedona) restaurant served excellent food and their dining room has an amazing view.
This was one of the best holidays we have ever had.
"We spent one week in this very nice house. One of the great things was that the pictures you see here correspond to the reality... so no dissappointment . It is located on top of a mountains in a small village. The view of the Ligure Sea and the sourroundings is incredible. Sarah even purchased some food to help us start the week. Very nice! The house was very clean and very well equiped. This is perfect for people who want to have quite place but access to the beach and other main tourist attactions around. We strongly recommend it!!!"
