Sundial Lodge boasts both a premier location and premier amenities, as such it is no surprise that the property won Conde Nast's Readers Choice award, putting Sundial Lodge among the top 25 properties in the US West, and #1 in Park City.

In terms of location there is simply no more convenient location than Sundial Lodge to enjoy Park City’s 7300 acres of terrain from. When you stay at Sundial you are at the very heart and center of the resort plaza. The property adjoins the main Red Pine gondola, houses the resort ski school, ski rentals, ski shop and wraps around the forum which is the hub of après ski. No “near” or “close” to the lifts as many others promise, Sundial Lodge IS the very heart and center with NO OTHER PROPERTY MORE CONVENIENT to both skiing/boarding and resort plaza amenities including après ski activities for adults and children alike, restaurants, shops, free concerts and more. Enjoy concerts spring and summer. Summer enjoy the golf course, ziplines, mountain biking, hiking and much more (all just out the door).

Meanwhile the property has the amenities to deliver the superior experience you are looking for. From the circular entrance with sparkling lights to great you upon your arrival, to bell service (seasonal) to assist you with your luggage, to the front desk to assist you with your check-in. Property has a year round heated outdoor pool, multiple hot tubs (both pool and roof level), relaxing gas firepits (both pool and roof level), gym, luxury ski check with boot dryers, complimentary wifi, complimentary underground parking and more.

And this is one of the best one bedrooms at Sundial.

To start with the unit is larger than most other Sundial one bedrooms with larger bathroom and larger living room. Combine that with the best sofa bed money can buy -- an American Leather Comfort Sleeper, with no springs, no bars, and no sagging (rather a platform) it sleeps just like a real bed, in king size no less -- and the unit can comfortably accommodate two couples if desired. Add the rollaway and accommodate a family of up to 5.

Moreover such is an upgraded unit (and not partial upgrade like most Sundial units, bath for example has ALL natural stone, not just granite countertop, but also travertine floors and shower).

And the unit is ideally located, other side of the building from the forum (thus quiet if you are not interested in such activities), looking across the pool and twinkling lights (winter), at the mountains and slopes.

Living area with fireplace, door to balcony, superior 50 inch flatscreen TV (DirecTV including HBO, Showtime, NFL Sunday Ticket), DVD, internet TV access (Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc.), dock for your music, the American Leather Comfort Sleeper in King size, seating at both table and bar, windows looking out at the pool and mountains beyond.

And while you have the largest ski resort and all that Canyons Village has to offer at your doorstep, if you want to venture beyond (Historic Main Street, Deer Valley, etc.) note that free bus/shuttle stop is conveniently located just a few steps from Sundial.

Best condo we've ever stayed in - they'd thought of everything

Although it was one bedroom, our family of 4 fitted easily.  My husband and I had our own room and our girls (11 & 9) shared the huge new king size sofa bed with no problems.  There was even room to leave their bed out all the time and still move around the unit.

The kitchen was equipped with everything you could think of, including forks for toasting marshmallows around the fire pit.  There was also a washing machine and dryer in the room.

Sundial Lodge is centrally located, with ski valet for your skis and boots at the front door.  The pool and spa were nicely heated and we used them everyday.  There was a free shuttle service to Park City in the evenings, and you are not far from the free town buses for other times. 

Overall, we had a great family holiday at Park City.

The Canyons

Great location. Great Condo. Ski in / ski out.

Excellent condo right next to child care, ski hire, gondola and chairlift. Comfortable bed with TV in bedroom and living room. Netflix and plenty of channels to watch. Spacious living room and kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Clean, quiet and comfy space in a great location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sundial! King bed was very comfortable, teenage son found king sleeper sofa comfortable. We spent most of our time on the slopes, but it was great to come back to a nicely appointed place, turn on the fireplace and relax. Brad was responsive and easy to communicate with. Sundial staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!

Sundial is wonderful get away vacation location

We stayed for a month in August to escape the hot summer weather and would do it again for sure. Sundial is very nice property central to The Canyons at Park City. We had great sleeps as the king bed was very comfortable. Amenities were as advertised and parking was easy and convenient. All made for a great vacation.

Be aware that during the summer months routine exterior property maintenance and local construction can be evident as they prepare for the winter sking season.

The owner we must say is also very accessible and cooperative in helping make your stay pleasant. Nice one bedroom condo that we would recommend.
