Ask a questionAbout Kay Delk
I have lived here most of my life. My husband and I have a small sheep farm and we use our English Shepherd dogs: Drover, KAT, BOO and Journey to help us with the sheep. Anyone of the dogs may be seen moving the sheep from pasture to pasture . The soft tinkling bells on the sheep adds an old world charm... We have two horses Tuff and Cheyanne currently 4 friendly ducks! I love this land and living here.
Why Kay Delk chose Denton
My Great great great grandfather Wyatt Nance owned this and most of the land in this area in the 1800's ...My roots are deep. I feel it. I love Jackson Creek. The mountains, the people, this farm, and my animals . This is a special place . One beautiful sunset, a whippoorwill song or a pair of Bob White Quail will sing for you...Maybe a grey or red fox or maybe a deer will walk about...Or my sheep quietly talking about their days work while their bells softly play... And it will be special to you as well.
What makes this Cottage unique
The views of the sunsets from the porch are unequaled. I have furnished the Shepherd's Cottage with my family dishes and furniture. The view of the pond from the front bedroom any time of the year is amazing.
