About Kelly Grossetete
I am an outdoor enthusiast. I love skiing, hiking, mountain and road biking. I am a commercial pilot by profession, but have been managing this complex since 2013. I have tried hard to make this condo your home away from home with the many of the comforts and furnishings you would at home. I am a resident manager and I am grateful to have you come stay. I try to treat you as a guest and friend. I will do my best to accommodate your needs during your stay. I truly feel blessed working with my guests closely from booking the condo to helping to make your stay here enjoyable and memorable.

Why Kelly Grossetete chose Taos Ski Valley
My family bought this prime lot in 2008. We built this amazing complex for its close proximity to the base ski area, its amenities and the spectacular skiing and hiking trails. Construction was completed in 2011. Once I park at the condo, I never have to use the car again. Everything is within walking distance. Yet, in the summer or when need a break from skiing, Taos and the surrounding area offers great opportunities for a wide variety of activities and really unique shopping opportunities.

Perfect Ski Rental
I'm always a little hesitant when I find a good place but I'd be doing the owner a huge disservice not to tell everyone what a great rental this is. If you're a small group, two, maybe three people, this place is great. Two or three minute walk through the neighborhood to the ski slope. The house had everything we needed. Very clean and updated look inside. Kelly was super responsive and helped with places to eat and places to go. Only criticism would be the hide-a-bed/pullout couch had the typical bar running through it. Since I was the one sleeping in it, I just turned horizontal and eliminated the one in my back which is the one that'll make you wake up with a sore back. When I did that it was a pleasant night sleep. We will definitely be back next year.
I apologize for the sleeper sofa. However, you are the first person to mention how uncomfortable it is. It is a memory foam mattress. I wish you would have told me when I saw you and then again when I was asked I was asked to fix the toaster. Guests comfort is top priority. I am a resident manager. Future guests, please let me know if there is something I can do to make your stay more comfortable, rather than leave it in a review. I will look into it! Thank you for letting me know.
Clean, modern, and convenient, perfect for a family of four with young kids!
We're a family of four with two young kids (six and three) that were in ski school, and this was the perfect accommodation for us. The unit was clean and "mountain resort modern", equivalent to a four-star city hotel. The owner/manager is friendly and lives on site, which is usually a bonus for any issues that may come up (though we didn't have any during our stay). If you have young kids in ski school, the main parking lot is just a short drive, and you're given priority parking near the ski school, which we found to be more convenient than ski-in, ski-out accommodations in the main village where you'd still have to take the gondolita to the children's learning center. We also had no issues finding a parking space right in front of the St Moritz despite the short drive back and forth to the village each day (presumably because most St Moritz guests do the walk and ski to the main village, so there's no jostling for parking spots, instructions provided by the owner/manager). And finally, in case your apres ski routine consists in part of watching a show on your tablet, WiFi is very fast, especially for a mountain resort accommodation - 49.3 down, 40.1 up when I ran the Ookla Speedtest upon arrival. St Moritz isn't the cheapest during peak season but having stayed elsewhere in Taos, you definitely get what you pay for, and if you're looking to save some money, pick up groceries at Cid's in Taos on the way up instead of eating out for breakfast/dinner and you also get to enjoy the condo some more! If/when we come back to Tao Ski Valley, we'll definitely be looking to book here again.
Very nicely appointed condo in good location.
The upscale furnishings and great location really enhanced 5 days of great skiing at Taos Ski Valley. Check in literally could not be easier (just walk in). We got 18" of snow in a couple days - porches and stairs were cleared very quickly. They even cleaned off our car for us.
The condo is on the top floor so be ready for some stairs. Also note that the unit is about a half mile beyond the Ski Valley parking lot. This means that in many cases you will need AWD or chains to go that last stretch (but don’t let that scare you off). We also used the “short cut” to the slopes. It was easy and close. All that said the place is excellent.
Thank you for leaving this review and for staying with us. In my opinion Taos Ski Valley in one of the top 10 destination ski resorts for it's steep and deep terrain. We also have great beginner and intermediate skiing too. That being said, the St Moritz Condos, is up Twining Rd in a box canyon at the start of the resident zoning. It is quiet and relaxing! Unit 402 is, a 1 bedroom/bath, on the top level of an 8 condo complex where the views are at the tree tops. There are two 1 bedroom/1 bath units on the first floor. One flight up from the back parking lot. #402 is two flights of up stairs from the front parking lot where you park your car. The road from the base is snow packed in the winter, but regularly plowed and well traveled. It is posted chains, AWD or 4x4 on the VRBO site and also mentions the stair and road details in both a short term rental agreement and a two page condo access and directions letter to email every guest. They both give more details about the condos that are common questions guests inquire about. Plus they have a lot more details I think you should know before you arrive. For example, get your groceries before you come up to stock in the chef's kitchen, it's a 40 mile round trip otherwise, my favorite restaurants, what to do here besides skiing, etc. Please check your email, when you make reservations with us. You may need to check your junk/ spam mail too.
This property is above expectation in every aspect. You will not be disappointed. Very short walk to slopes.
Thank you for leaving this kind review. It is our goal to exceed expectations. Thank you again for staying with us. Please come back.
