Very close to the sea and the beaches, in a region rich in heritage and tourist activities.

Ungewöhnliches und schönes Ferienhaus

Mein Mann und ich haben den Aufenthalt in der Gite Colombier genossen. Wir wurden von Yves und seiner Frau, die nebenan wohnen, nett empfangen und hätten bei Fragen oder Problemen jederzeit bei ihnen Klingeln können. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Wir haben lediglich ein Austernmesser vermisst. Im Bad lagen Handtücher bereit und auch Bettwäsche mussten wir nicht mitbringen. Wer im nahgelegenen Restaurant Le Colombier essen möchte, sollte frühzeitig reservieren. Wir haben es eine Woche vorher versucht und da war das Restaurant, das einen Michelin-Stern hat, bereits ausgebucht. Auf der Wiese nebenan residiert ein Esel names Tintin, der weiß, dass er von den Gästen mit Karotten verwöhnt wird und diese auch einfordert. Also beim Einkauf an Karotten denken. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Offranville und überlegen, wieder zu kommen.

Alles bestens

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in einer besonderen Wohnung verbracht. Das ehemalige Taubenhaus ist von Yves fachlich hervorragend zur dreietagigen Wohnung umgebaut worden. Dabei wurde die alte Bausubstanz erhalten. Die Einrichtung ist komplett und sehr geschmackvoll. Die Betten sind bequem. Alles ist sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. Das Vermieterpaar ist total nett und sehr diskret. Die direkte Umgebung des Taubenturms besteht aus einem parkähnlichen Garten, den man benutzen darf. Auf der Weide direkt nebenan steht Tintin, der Esel zum Verlieben. In Offranville gibt es alles, was man braucht, drei Bäckereien, einen Supermarkt mit Tankstelle, Döner- und Pizza und ein sehr empfehlenswertes Sternerestaurant. Mit dem Fahrrad kann man u.a. eine autofreie schöne ca. 6 km lange Strecke nach Dieppe fahren. Für uns eine rundum schöne Zeit. Danke an Michèlle und Yves!

Schöner Familienurlaub

Der schön renovierte Turm bietet alles was man als Familie benötigt. Wir waren zu viert unterwegs (2 Erw. + 2 Kinder), und haben eigentlich nichts vermisst. Die Lage ist ruhig in einer Kleinstadt, Bäcker und Einkaufsmöglichkeit in 5min zu Fuß erreichbar. Zum Meer ca. 10min mit dem Auto. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und wir haben uns trotz unserer schlechten Französischkenntnisse verständigen können. Perfekter Ort für einen erholsamen Urlaub.

Very enjoyable!

Offranville is a beautiful village. With the house just a short walk to the supermarket which has everything you need, as well as its own Michelin star restaurant. Dieppe is only a ten minute drive with fantastic seafood restaurants. The house itself was impeccably clean. The bed comfy, the shower excellent, with great facilities such as washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. Surrounding the property is the most wonderfully relaxing gardens with an everyday visit from the neighbour, an inquisitive donkey who would see what we were up to. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly. This holiday has kick started our adventures for more times in France to come!

Toller Taubenturm mit kleinem Problem

Wir waren etwas zu früh am Turm, das war aber für die sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber kein Problem. Wir wurden sofort im Turm herumgeführt und konnten alles bewundern. Das alte Gebäude ist sehr aufwendig renoviert und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts, außer innen an Licht. Bei schlechtem Wetter schlägt einem die baulich bedingte Dunkelheit aufs Gemüt, da hilft auch der gut funktionierende Kamin nicht viel. Wir konnten aber fast immer raus ins tolle Außengelände oder ans Meer mit der wunderschönen Alabasterküste. Viele kleine, nicht überlaufene Küstenorte und breite Strände mit meist groben Kieseln. Ein Aufenthalt im Taubenturm ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. 4 Erwachsene und evtl. 2 Kinder haben Platz genug.
