Stone house with swimming pool in a 3 hectare park with direct access to the Dordogne.
Beautiful and large and very pleasant stay. Quality bedrooms.
Quiet, without adjoining houses In the heart of the Périgord Noir, 7 km south of Sarlat.

Close to many tourist sites. Close to the airports of Brive, Bergerac 1h Toulouse 2H and Bordeaux 2H. Possibility of car rental. Easy access via A20, A89 etc.

Séjour en Dordogne

L'environnement est magnifique. Cette belle villa est non seulement à la campagne - au calme et au vert avec la Dordogne au bout du jardin - mais aussi à 15-20 minutes à pied proche de restaurants sympa (chez Ninon ... humm) ou le golf (Practice, plusieurs restaurants, Sauna ) et à quelques km de Sarlat. Belle découverte ! et la propriétaire est plus que sympathique Merci pour ce séjour

Une semaine reposante dans un cadre magnifique

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans un cadre magnifique. La météo n'a pas été avec nous mais la maison est très confortable et les parties de jeux de plateau au coin du feu furent un vrai plaisirs. L’accès au bord de la Dordogne est vraiment sympa. La propriétaire a été très prévenante et d'un grande gentillesse. Bref nous avons passé une excellente semaine et nous recommandons fortement.

Poor cleanliness

The property could have been cleaner. There was also some exposed electrical wires. Be fully prepared for mosquitos as the property is near the river there are a lot of them.

Excellent Gite, in prime location

We stayed here for 2 weeks in August 2023. We arrived and Ariane (owner) had been let down by her cleaners so there was a small delay before entering the property. However once we gain entry we were more than happy with the accommodation and facilities. We were a family of 7- 4,8,9 children, parents and grandparents. There was lots of pool toys, toys in the house, games books. Ariane has lots of baby items if you need. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of pans and utensils. It was very hot (35-40C) when we stayed and could have benefitted from some AC but we managed and there are a couple of fans around that we used. The pool was great and very family friendly with steps into the pool for children to play on. There were sun shades and sun loungers (only 6). Ariane is a great host and we saw here a couple of times on our stay cleaning the pool and was lovely to speak to her. The gite has access to the river, which we used to paddle board and swimming the river - although very strong currents so be careful. Next door is a campsite and we heard no noise from this what so ever. Further down the road in Montfort is a boulangarie (which is 25 mins walk) and also a lovely restuarant we visited twice on our stay. Vitrac port has canoeing, but we also found a canoe hire just a short distance up river in the campsite just past lassagne (15 mins walk). Sarlat is 10 - 20 mins away depending on traffic. Would stay again!!!

There are so much more to see, to do etc that we did not have time to do this year can we come again next year. We just love this place?"
My aim is to welcome the guest as if they were family I love getting to know them , knowing what they like and advise them on their perfect outing our lovely Périgord . I am passionate about this region.

A mixture of a will to save the family heritage and a enjoyment in sharing my love of this exquisite countryside. There is so much more to discover around here than one expects, great exchanges between people, territories and all the eco-tourists

What makes this property unique

This XVIII century farmhouse is typical of the Perigord Region . You will be able to see the ancient drying tobacco barn . You have a feeling of travelling in time and being sent back there. Newly renovated the cottage is fully equipped to modern days needs
with no neighbour it is ideal when with small children the park has a very agreeable size and it private access to the river has to be noticed .
