For couples travelling with young children (parents or grandparents), the end of fall still offers good distraction opportunities such as hiking, discovering the surroundings, as well as swimming in the sea; the water temperature is usually very pleasant at this time of year, the beaches less crowded and the prices lower! Why wait? Stop by our house!
Other touristic areas include:
The Gorges de l'Hérault and the Gorges d'Éric, Haut Languedoc National Park, the Orb valley, the Camargue region and its fauna, the Cévennes foothills, the Cathar Castles, but most of all the most beautiful beaches of the coast! Clean fine sand beaches with lifeguards, where you can take in the sun's rays.
The rental: on the first floor of a villa, very nice and spacious independent apartment (bright and very clean, designed for your well-being and you comfort): 100 sq.m, 5 nice and spacious rooms, 3 bedrooms (comfortable beds), sleeps 5, with an additional cot. It is possible to join two twin beds to make a 160 cm double bed.
Small enclosed garden in the shade, equipped to fully enjoy the outdoors (garden furniture, barbecue, loungers, shower, etc.).
Close to the sea in a quiet setting (far from the noise in the village and camping sites) but only 200 m from supermarkets and 700 m from the Sévignan city centre where you will find any service you need (restaurants, pizzerias, McDonald's, bakeries, local products, seafood, but also chemists, doctors, medical tests centres, spa, etc.).
Come and discover the beautiful southern village that is Sérignan.
The main square with its chestnut trees, the market, held three times weekly, and many forms of free entertainment (singing, music, village fairs, mussel dishes, festivals, art market, etc.)
Its 12th century collegiate church (singing, gospel) is the starting point for many hikes to the Haut Languedoc National Park, the Canal du Midi and its hiking trails.
You can even enjoy the beaches without using your car! A bus network connects Sérignan to the beaches and back during the summer and Sérignan to Valras all year-round.
Any information you need is available at the tourist board in Sérignan, in the Cigalière performance hall.
Furthermore, our village offers tourists (and everyone else!) amazing events (free more often than not) during summer. In July, the 'feria' and its equestrian show and traditional 'taureau-piscine' in the arena, concerts, dancing events, singing, and other entertainment in the 'bodégas' (dance gatherings).
In August, the village fair (on Saint Roch's Day) and the traditional 300-rider parade, blessing of the riders and their mounts as well as any pets in front of the collegiate church. Bars and bands invade the promenade, along with live singers, musicians, entertainers, and concerts on the main square in July and August (any information about the events can be obtained through the owners).
You can also enjoy the regional markets and buy products from local producers (weekly market in which you can often eat as well) and many more things to discover during your stay in our village.
