Wie bei Großmutter auf dem Land

Wir haben zwei Wochen in diesem charmanten ehemaligen Handwerkerhaus inmitten eines ruhigen Dorfes sehr genossen. Der Blick auf den von Bäumen bestandenen Platz und die mittelalterliche Kirche ist außergewöhnlich. Von hier aus haben wir die weitere Umgebung mit ihren vielen Kulturdenkmalen gut erkunden können.

Lovely property in a rural village

We enjoyed a fantastic family holiday in this house. The house was huge, full of character and very well equipped with everything we needed. The owners greeted us on arrival, were very friendly and spoke English. The village was quiet but my teenage boys still made friends with some locals and they played football together in the evenings. We took a day trip into Paris by catching the train from nearby Sens. There wasn’t a shop in the village but there is an Aldi supermarket about 6 miles away where we bought everything we needed. If you are looking for a quiet holiday where you can immerse yourself in French culture then this is the place for you.

Ein Haus mit Charakter

Wir hatten einen sehr herzlichen Empfang und wurden bestens in alles eingewiesen. Das Haus hat einen eigenen Charakter, den man jeden Tag immer mehr lieb gewinnt. Es war vor Ort alles vorhanden und bei Fragen konnte man sich jeder Zeit an Guy und Aurora wenden. Die Kirchenglocken haben, insbesondere beim liturgischen Geläut, einen sehr schönen Klang. Dank des umfangreichen Infomaterials vor Ort haben wir auch Ausflüge zu Orten gemacht, zu denen wir sonst wohl nicht gefahren wären.
