Comfortable, great location, honest hosts!!

This apartment is perfect for a small family. Location is perfect with easy access to public transport, and many amenities within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Very nice place

Apartment is very nice, quiet, had everything that we needed. We stayed there for 2.5 weeks. We liked it a lot, very nice neighborhood, close to everything, but not touristy. We had a car and there is a free parking on the street. Very nice owner, very easy to get in touch. We hope to come back soon.

Katamon apartment

The apartment is spacious and well appointed. The location is great with quick access to public transportation. The owner and manager are easily contacted and helpful. I'd hope to stay again in the future

Great location, can use some updating

I always love staying in Katamon when visiting Israel. It has a special feel to it, and it's close to everything. The apartment was great but it can use some updating; it just feels old and outdated. Also, the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are very very small. Once you take out the trundle, there's barely any room to move. Need to live out of the suitcase in those rooms, as no closets either. 1. There were ants in the kitchen and bathroom. I noticed a few bottles of ant spray under the kitchen sink, so it seems it's a known issue. 2. The water pressure is atrocious. There are 2 showers, but don't try using both at once, or there will be zero pressure in either. Even flushing a toilet while in the shower will severely cut down the water pressure. That was a big issue that I'm not sure if it was known, but was unpleasant. Even with the above issues, overall, we had a great time. If I was to stay there again, I would prefer to see the apartment updated as well as the issues I mentioned to be addressed.

The neighborhood of Old Katamon has a romantic style, featuring beautifully designed houses with yards, pragmatically located close to the center of town. In the neighborhood are schools, preschools and synagogues of many different varieties; best known are the Shteiblich, Breslav (kabbalat shabbat is not to be missed), Ohel Nechama, Ramban, Shir Chadash, Shira Chadasha and Yakar. The population is a mixture of national religious, secular and chareidi, notably the ultra-Orthodox Erloi Chassidic group. Easy transportation to all cultural centers and entertainment.
