Everything you need

  • 5 of 5

I've stayed at quite a few VRBO rentals and this one has been our best experience yet. It had everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy our stay. Shawna was fantastic to work with and everything worked out great. The cabin was so comfy and the setting was beautiful. If we ever go back to Yellowstone, we will definitely stay here.

The cabin was wonderful and very well stocked.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very close to Yellowstone and very convenient for accessing the amazing sights. We had a great experience and enjoyed our time in the park and in the cabin. We loved the hot tub, bar-b-que, and the areas in the cabin upstairs and down for games, meals together and family time.

We enjoyed the stay at this beautify house!

  • 4 of 5

We, ten adults, came from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to visit Yellowstone National Park and stayed this house for six nights and seven days. The house sits in the west of the park about 19 miles to the West Entrance of the park. Route 20 that leads to the park's Entrance is quiet and beautiful with light traffic. With posted speed limit of 65, driving is quick and enjoyable, especially in morning and evening.

The house, which is quite well equipped for daily living, is spacious and comfortable to accommodate ten adults. We prepared and had our breakfast and dinner in the house and enjoyed the stories we learned from the park every day.

The second floor of the house also has a large open space with sitting area. It provides convenience when ladies and gentlemen have different topics.

There was almost no cell phone signal in the house (T-Mobile and AT&T), but it was not a problem to us because we came to have free time to enjoy the beautiful nature. Near or on the route 20, which is about 5 min walking distance from the house, it usually gets strong cell phone signals. So you do have chance to make phone calls or browse messages when you are on the road between the house and the park (when you are not the driver!).

The only confusion we had was to find where to dispose the garbage. The instruction provided by the owner directed us to a landfill that was by the route 20 about 10 miles to the west from the house, an opposite direction to the park. We could call the pick-up companies as the owner instructed as well, but we were hesitating to do so because we were concerned about any animals if we would left them at the door, though we only saw some squirrels around the house. Then we found that there was a big dumpster (brown colored) set just outside the West Entrance by the park, so we could dump our small amount of waste generated from our simple cooking each day before we entered the park. We left all the recyclable at the collectors that locate at almost all the stop points in the park. We were not sure if we did exactly right, but we were sure all materials ended up at right places.

We were very satisfied with the stay. Surely the beautiful memory will stay with us forever. That makes us want to do it again.

Great 4th of July vacation

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved this cabin! We had 6 adults and 4 children ages 11, 9, 7, and 6. This cabin accommodated our party great! There was plenty of sleeping space for everyone and the beds were comfortable. We were very impressed with how well stocked the house was. They had tons of dishes and silverware. The kitchen was well stocked with baking and cooking essentials. They had lots of pans, crockpots, and anything else my normal kitchen had. They even had all the dishwasher soap and laundry soap for our stay! We all enjoyed the hot tub and spent many evenings relaxing in it. The location was great and even though there were lots of cabins around everyone was very quiet and we hardly noticed any neighbors. It was very hot the week we were there around 90 most days and it made it VERY hot in the upstairs bedrooms! The people sleeping upstairs had a hard time sleeping due to the heat but we appreciated the fans that were up there and made do. Myself, being 8 months pregnant, slept in a downstairs bedroom and was very comfortable but felt bad for those upstairs. No one can control the weather and we were glad it cooled down at night. We had a wonderful vacation and would recommend this cabin to anyone! It was great being only 15-20 minutes away from West Yellowstone and was an easy drive. I would recommend the owners updating the directions for the landfill that are in the cabin. They were horrible and we had to stop at a gas station to get the correct directions. Thank you for providing such a great vacation with lots of memories for our family!

Great cabin not far from Yellowstone

  • 4 of 5

This was an ideal spot for our family reunion consisting of 7 adults. Never felt crowded, everyone had their own space, and plenty of open areas for people to interact with each other. Upstairs there is a pool and pingpong table that everyone enjoyed. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook. Bedrooms are nice with comfortable beds. There were only two downsides- one is that the washing machine is LOUD. We were in the room next to it and it was unbelievable how loud it was! Make sure no one throws a load of laundry in before going to bed or you won't be able to sleep. The other is that the hot tub was overly chlorinated and impossible to enjoy. The drive to Yellowstone west enterance is about twenty minutes so it was ideally located. Loved our stay here- I would highly recommend!
