Great Secluded Getaway
This is a great little cabin that was nicely equipped and decorated. The owners were responsive with a minor issue at check-in (to no fault of their own). Beautiful scenery and several outside amenities. Linens and towels were comfy. Just far enough away from the nearest small town of Lansing that had a beautiful great riverside park with plenty of area to fish and play.

Perfect Getaway Spot!
Everything was absolutely perfect and as described or better. Can’t wait to go back. This cabin is perfect for escaping reality for a few days or a romantic getaway. If you’re older with knee issues, this is your spot!!! Only one step as you enter the cabin. The hot tub is absolutely magnificent. Perfect size, water temp, and have never seen one any cleaner! This is just a great great cabin with great communication from the owners!

Creekside Tranquility is owned and operated by Hal and Margie Kluttz from Lincolnton, NC. Hal is a retired Police Detective Lieutenant and Margie is the President of Harper Corporation of America, a manufacturing business that reconditions printing cylinders. Hal's mother was born and raised in the NC Mountains and Hal has been coming to Ashe County all his life.

Why they chose this property

Hal and Margie have been spending time in Ashe County since they were married over (30) years ago. They fell in love with the cabins along the peaceful shores of the Big Horse Creek.

What makes this property unique

Spending the summer nights listening to the water flow down the creek from our open bedroom window was relaxing beyond description. There is just so much to see and do in Ashe County. This became our home away from home.
