About this property

These quiet situated Studios combine the comforts of home with a great location on the edge of the old city center. The Studios have their own private bathroom with shower, 2 excellent beds, WiFi and a TV/DVD/CDR-set to make your stay comfortable. Bed- and bath linen is included.
The Red Studio and Yellow Studio can accommodate 2 persons each.
The 'Studio formula' means self-catering, there is a coffee and tea, maker and a magnetron oven facility.
The Studios are on the 3rd floor, so you'll have to climb stairs. You'll have your own key to your Studio and the front door.
Reservations for weekends can be made only 3 weeks before the reservation date.

CULTURE
Nearby there are the beautiful 17th-century canals with their stately houses. In the museum quarter, you'll find the famous Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk- and Van Gogh museum as well as the Spiegel-quarter with its many antique shops. All are within walking distance.

SHOPPING
Deli's, supermarket, shops for daily needs, restaurants, and bars are just around the corner. A few hundred meters further on will bring you to the most exclusive shopping street in the city. A longer walk or a short tram ride takes you to the city's busy shopping center, with its large department stores, or the many markets, including the Flower market.

ENTERTAINMENT
The apartments are situated near the famous Leidseplein with its unique bars, grand cafes, restaurants, cinemas, clubs, concert halls, discos, and several theaters. The location provides entertainment for everyone.

LEISURE TIME
The Vondelpark is a stone's throw away for walking, in-line skating, biking or jogging. There are also several popular terraces to have a drink or lunch near one of the Dutch TV Studios. In summer there is a free open-air theater with concerts, dance programs, and theater. Boat- and bicycle rentals are close by.

Location Location Location!

Edwin and Karin are the most wonderful hosts: warm, welcoming, generous and accomodating. The property is perfectly located to see all the sights of Amsterdam without the crowds. The apartment is spacious and light - we loved coming home to it each day! Everything was perfect, close and convenient to supermarket and Tram. Only issue was the heat in the afternoon, there is no aircon so it can get quite hot.
