Why Joanne and Fred Westcott chose Penticton
This house is our home. We have worked hard to make this an amazing place to spend your holiday and we want to share it. Our home is special to us and we hope you will enjoy it too. Why? LOCATION! Its close to everything and we absolutely love to wake up and enjoy the beautiful Lake Okanagan. Our kids can safely walk to all the local attractions, amenities, restaurants and shops close-by without having us drive them anywhere. Unique – Our home is unique because of its location and we love the flat roof architecture house style.
What makes this House unique
Unique – Our home is unique because of its location and we love the flat roof mid-century house style. We recently discovered the house won a design award when it was originally built. There is a beautiful large maple tree in the backyard, a perfect shady spot to relax and read a book.
100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date.
We shared this house with another couple for our son’s playoffs. It was the perfect setup and location for us.
The place is very clean and comfortable. The owners (and Jim) were great to deal with. We will definitely rent this unit again.
Was clean and organized and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and was great to eat outside
Directly across from Okanagan Lake. Close to many amenities. 10 minute walk to “the peach” and South Okanagan Events Centre. Too many restaurants within walking distance to even list :)
The house is exactly as described with beautiful, modern, comfy interiors in a convenient location.
We went to the lake every day. There's a nice park just a few steps down the alley with swings, jungle gym and splash pad. Japanese garden is a must- see. Kids has a blast at the bouncy thing out in the water. Supposedly discount coupon from visitors center. Loco-landing was lots of fun too. Restaurants within walking distance. Tons of wineries and orchards in both directions worth visiting.
The house itself is beautifully decorated and has everything you will need from kitchen ware to bathroom supplies including shampoo and soap. Also dishwasher soap And laundry soap plus beach towels. Used the outdoor grill and table. So fun.
Definitely book this place. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. Plenty of room.
Wow! What a fantastic holiday
My wife and I decided to go on a little wine tour in the Okanagan with our parents and friends. We were lucky enough to have found this awesome property! Slept all 6 of us comfortably. Beautiful bathrooms, clean and full of everything you need!! Joanne and Fred are awesome and their property manager Jo is superb!
We will definetly come back!
Location was great, house was fantastic - loved having two floors/two livingrooms. AC had no problem keeping things cool and each day the temperature was in the 30's.
Perfect family holiday home
We loved the location, right across from the Lake, and it's close proximity to all of the child friendly attractions that Penticton has to offer. The unit was very well equipped, it even had lots of games for the kids to play, and the owner and property manager were very accommodating. Highly recommended, especially for families with younger children, although it would work for anyone wanting to be well located in Penticton.
Lake Okanagan (20 feet) - walk up early and go for an early morning swim or jog.
River Channel (10 mins walk) - our kids' favorite activity, best way to spend 2 hours just chilling on the channel.
Penticton Lakeside Resort & Casino (2 mins walk) - there is a great restaurant, Hooded Morganzer, on the lake outside the hotel.
Penticton Farmer's Market and downtown (3 mins walk)-pick-up fresh local produce every Sat from May to October. Go for lunch at Theo's (on Main St) or peruse through The Bookshop (new and used books, also on Main St).
Naramata Winery region and KVR trail (5 mins drive) - go for a bike, jog or hike on the KVR trail and reward yourself with a nice coffee and treat at our favorite artisan bakery and coffee spot, The Bench Market (on Vancouver Ave).
Penticton Convention Centre / Community Centre (5 mins drive)- go swimming or use the fitness centre year round.
