2 bedroom, 1 bath Cabin with perfect year round Lake View
Our family has been coming to Clifty Creek at Lake Cumberland since the 70's. We had such great memories of our childhood at the lake and we wanted to make great memories with our kids ... a girl, 2 boys, 2 golden retrievers and 1 chocolate lab. In 2004, our family had the opportunity to purchase this cabin. Since then there has been very few weekends that we have not been at the cabin. It is such a special place no matter if its summer weekends, holidays, fall or snowing winter nights. We hope you enjoy this cabin and your time there as much as we have through the years.
Stephanie purchased this Cabin in 2004

Muy bonito lugar para pasar en familia
Nos gustó mucho la cabaña,disfrutamos mucho estar en familia,la vista al lago es muy linda,la recomiendo .
We rented the house from Monday-Saturday. It was exactly as described in the text and reviews.
We had a great stay. No one around but us and the local wildlife. The house came with everything we needed to prep meals.
Stephanie was very informative and quick to respond to questions.
Overall it was an outstanding stay, hope to come back again next Fall!
Thank you Ellis for your kind review. We love the cabin in October, it is so peaceful and gives us all time to reflect on our hectic lives. Keep us in mind for next year, we would love for you to stay at the cabin again.
Perfect little cabin for a nice and quiet getaway!
Overall, this cabin is really nice. Like the owner says in their listing, it is perfect for a couple, and nice for a small family or for the guys to stay during a fishing trip. We maxed out the place with my Wife and I, and our 6 children and a mini Schnauzer. But we spent a lot of time on the lake, or hanging out down at their private dock. The cabin was very clean, and came equipped with everything that we needed for the long weekend. There is one cabin in front of this one that blocks some of the beautiful view, but that wouldn’t keep us from booking again. The communication was very open with the owner, and they responded quickly, to my messages.
Jeremy, I am so happy you all had a great time at the cabin. Loved seeing the photos from the water, seemed like a great time had by all. Keep us in mind for future travels to Lake Cumberland, we would love to have you stay at the cabin again.
Nice place but come prepared
Nice location and having dock access was nice with a boat we had. It’s Cumberland so it’s going to be a steep climb from boat no matter where you’re at but it was manageable. The one BIG Bummer was no propane in either of the 2 tanks. Brought $80 in steaks that didn’t get cooked. Bring your own TP to make sure you have enough (we always bring ours during VRBO stays)
Hello Bob, Thank you for your review of your stay. I am happy you enjoyed your time at our cabin on Lake Cumberland. In regards to the issues you had with propane tank, I wish you had explained the problem when I contacted you on how things were going, I could have directed you to were the back up tanks are located. As for the toilet paper shortage, I would have thought 2 new rolls of toilet paper would have been enough to last a 2 night stay. I will make sure to start leaving an additional back up for such occurrences.
Have a great Fall.
Good lake place
The place is as advertised, a comfortable lake cabin with a boat slip and easy lake access. The kitchen is well furnished and the big porch is great for eating meals. There is no dining area inside.
Hello Guy, So happy you enjoyed your stay at our cabin. We love the screened in porch and spend most of our time there when not on the lake. Hope you enjoy your fall and keep us in mind for future travels to Lake Cumberland.
Cozy and nice suitable place.
Overall the property was nice and we would stay here again.
The only lookout is that the road is only one lane wide and you should only access the property one way especially if you are pulling a boat. There is only two parking spots for cars.
If you have a boat take it to the State Dock and use their ramp. They have a open trailer lot next to the general store to leave your trailer at while you staying here and its free.
You can by water drive your boat back to the dock that is down hill from the rental home.
Otherwise the property is comforable . They provide a lot of DVD's to watch as there is no cable TV.
We enjoyed our stay.
Thank you for your review of your stay at our cabin. I am happy you enjoyed your stay. We are in a rural area and the roads tend to be narrow. I am glad the direction I provided aloud you to park in an area you were comfortable with. Hope you have an enjoyable Fall and keep us in mind when you travel to Lake Cumberland in the future.
Lake Cumberland is 101 miles long and is one of the largest man-made lakes in the nation with 1300 miles of shore line. Each year millions of visitors travel from all over the United States to come to the Lake Cumberland area to enjoy the rugged beauty of its 63,000 surface acres and 1,255 miles of wooded shoreline. Lake Cumberland touches several counties in southern Kentucky and ranks 9th in the US in size. Lake Cumberland has a capacity of 6.1 million acres of water, enough to cover the entire state of Kentucky with 3 inches of water. That’s roughly 1.9 trillion gallons of water.
Our Clifty Creek Cabin, is on Central time zone and is 5 minutes by water to Jamestown & State Docks. Great location. Tucked back up in Clifty Creek, no through boat traffic.
