Comfy and convenient
We stayed at this property for a week while working on our mother's house. I would describe it as funky but comfortable.
I felt right at home. The owner is friendly and very prompt with communications.
The rear parking-area turnaround is a little tight if you drive a large car or truck, but do-able.
Great spot in Pasadena
Super cute bungalow located in a fantastic neighborhood in Pasadena. Short walk to S Lake and to Cal Tech. The bungalow is located behind another home, so make sure to go down the long driveway! Overall, clean, quiet, and comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here again when I'm back in town.
Cute, cozy and perfect location
Wonderful little place within walking distance to Caltech and lake street. Cynthia made everything so easy. She even stocked it with eggs, bagels, milk and coffee which made a delicious breakfast for our first morning. We will definitely stay there again
We enjoyed our stay in Pasadena. The little bungalow met our requirements for a “walkable” location and was perfect for the 3 of us. Any more, however, and we’d have felt crowded. The homeowner was responsive and helpful. Parking was a bit confusing as the space was shared with another bungalow and it seems they didn’t expect to share, though we’d been assured in advance there was plenty of room for our 3 vehicles. Also would have been helpful to know this bungalow is not on the street, but is down a driveway behind the other house. On the whole, a good experience and we’d rent this bungalow again.
Clean, comfortable, convenient... perfectly suited to our needs
This 2 bedroom bungalow met the needs of our frequent VRBO usage. Since our son moved years ago to the west coast from being raised in Northeast we have had to relocate Christmas festivities as he deepened roots with a growing family that made it a challenge to travel. This bungalow , 8 minutes from his house in San Gabriel allowed us to be present for the birth of a Christmas grand daughter, without intruding. It provided a quiet, well laid out space for my husband and I and our adult daughter to have our own privacy to unwind during hectic holiday AND birthing preparations It has an eclectic , unfussy, comfortable French country vibe with a layout that allowed each of the three of us the space to chill and unwind from the holiday and birthing excitement. The beds were comfortable from mattress to linens. It is walking distance to stores and restaurants when we did not feel like cooking in the amply supplied kitchen or we needed a last minute gift.. The basics, from utensils to kitchen staples were all there, not to mention the lovely treats of wine, eggs, cookies, milk, and butter which welcomed us after a long travel adventure. Wifi worked well and parking was off road and never an issue. But the most appreciated amenity was the availability of the hosts, Cynthia and Bruno who were immediately responsive when the VRBO app did not always deliver the expected information. In all our VRBO experiences, this has been one of our easiest and most personable and comfortable stays. If my son does not relocate yet again, we will most definitely plan on staying here on our next extended visit.
