About this property

Experience the look, feel and amenities of a private wilderness estate with direct access to prime waterfront on one of Maine’s premier mountain lakes.
This near-new and thoughtfully appointed custom ten room log sided home features a remote feeling location, imaginative architectural design, and a full array of upscale amenities. Knotty pine paneling on walls and ceiling and extensive lighting exudes comfort, luxury, and warmth. Expansive lawn/yard with a large stone and brick grill/fire pit; large 10-foot picnic table, archery targets, badminton, golf chipping area, corn hole area, mountain, and partial lake views. Winter sliding and tubing on sloping yard directly out the back door. Rangeley Village supermarket, shopping, services, bars, bowling alley, sport/recreation vehicle shops, and restaurants are all only two to three miles from the house. Game room in the heated garage includes seven-foot slate pool table; ping pong, air hockey; dart board, putting strip, and Tiki Toss; as well as an elliptical trainer and Total Gym exerciser. A four burner Weber gas grill is on the upper deck.
Property lies within the Rangeley wildlife reserve. Frequent wildlife sightings include deer, foxes, bald eagles, and more.
The waterfront area (this, and only this, area is shared with two other families) features 80 feet of sandy bottomed, gradually sloping shoreline on Rangeley Lake’s central northern shore that provides possibly the best swimming spot on the lake. The waterfront is a half mile coast on a bicycle, or a pleasant 10-minute walk thru a dense spruce and birch forest from the house. (A three-person Side by Side ATV is available for adult use for waterfront access for an additional $60/day or $250/week and a signed waiver).
The twin aluminum docks will each accommodate up to 22-foot boat. The shore front screen house provides retreat from sun and weather and storage for boating accessories. Three adult kayaks, a small kids’ kayak, and a two person peddle boat are available for your use with a signed waiver.
A spruce, cedar and birch forest surrounds three sides of the large and beautifully landscaped yard. Family & Friends Weekend in Rangeley
Wonderful, large property with ample entertainment options for every member of our small group of family and friends. We enjoyed the pool table, ping pong, air hockey, hot tub, and just relaxing on the porch with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. It was a perfect place for us to gather and enjoy time together. Thank you!

Wonderful mountain getaway
Great property with great amenities - this was our second time staying here, and we love it. It’s a nice, quiet spot, but still close to some great skiing, the town of Rangeley, and has plenty to do on those low-key rainy days - a full games room, great hot tub, wonderful oft with a gas fireplace, and a beautiful deck to enjoy the view of the lake and mountains. The owners are also great - they were happy to adjust our dates due to a winter storm. Definitely recommend for any family looking for a quiet getaway!

Perfect location to Rangeley Lake and snowmobile trails
We enjoyed our stay in your beautiful well appointed home. We especially appreciated the heated floors in the entryway, perfect after a day of snowmobiling. The proximity to the snowmobile trail was perfect. Rangeley is a beautiful area and we hope to come back in the warmer months to check out some hiking and mountain biking. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
