OK. Dated/tired but convenient for ski fun.
Space was fine for two adults + toddler. Two sides to this fair review:
Very tired & dated (note the pics are 2008 and no upgrades), and a little rough around the edges, but somewhat expected from high traffic of skiers over many years...e.g. the pullout is way springy, and the mop/ironing board/humidifier/extinguisher are stored in the clothes closet. A plunger, new clean utensils and a matt for wet boots would be easy adds. Ceiling fan light, lamp shades easy fixes. Description says dine-in but pull out some weak chairs into the kitchen area. Appliances just fine and the air worked great. Steam shower works well.
None of this a big deal, mind you -- we're easy -- these things are mostly just less pleasing to the eye. It's totally functional but seems expensive vs places on the Park City strip. But you're paying for prime vacation time at the Canyons base -- family oriented -- and a 3min walk once you learn to step outside instead of navigating the Westgate hallways. Netflix went out but owner was immediately responsive to try to get help from the resort desk. Ease of booking and transitions -- great. Superb shuttle service via the app to Pk City base or town. Lockers and ski valet staff are on point -- mostly friendly and competent. Pools, hot tub and game room were clean and fun.
All in all, a good stay, just know what you're getting.
Three quick tips: 1: Order food & supplies from Walmart+ delivered to the front desk (the local market has silly prices). 2: From floor 7, learn to exit outside on floor 6 or 5 rather than taking multiple elevators. 3: Saturday apres in the arcade they host free games (not advertised).
