About the property

Enjoy And Explore Battle Lake, MN. Located In The Heart Of Lakes Country.

The Brickyard Lake Lodge is a spacious five bedroom, two level, 2200 square foot home that sleeps 12-14. Recently remodeled, the interior of this home is finished nearly entirely with knotty pine siding, giving an appealing cabin- up-north feel. Enjoy our three-season enclosed porch, second-level deck and lower-level deck and cozy fireplace. The Brickyard Lake Lodge is a perfect destination for crafting: quilters and scrapbookers can enjoy large-group retreats. Be sure to ask about our off-season 'scrappers' & quilters rate. This retreat would also be an AWESOME family reunion site!!! There are two bedrooms on the main floor - one with a queen, the other with a full size bed. The bathroom on the main floor is spacious with a corner style whirlpool tub. The second floor has three bedrooms featuring queen (2) and full-size (1) beds. The second level bathroom is very spacious, with a tub/shower combination. Both levels have large living and recreation rooms, each with flat screen TVs (local cable TV). The upstairs living rooms has a pull-out couch available. Sheets and towels are provided. Main floor kitchen has sink, stove fridge and dishwasher. Upstairs kitchen has sink, stove, and fridge.

Admire the beautiful views of West Battle Lake to the east and Silver Lake to the northwest.

The Lodge's location is unbelievable; just one block from the Battle Lake Public Pier where you can cast a line or park your boat for the day. The Battle Lake public beach, park with picnic area and fun playground, and the boat launch are only four blocks away. Swim and play in the crystal clear warm water of West Battle Lake; your feet will love its sandy shores.

The Brickyard Lake Lodge is located on the Glendalough Bike Trail, a 12-mile, family-friendly loop trail that connects the City of Battle Lake to Minnesota's newest State Park, Glendalough. We are also within 20 miles of the Central Lakes Bike Trail.

Have fun making your way along the six-block path into historic Battle Lake. Along the way, visit the statue of Chief Wenonga, tour the Civil War Museum and the 'Prospect House'. Enjoy a variety of shopping, eateries, and the many activities Battle Lake has to offer. Check out the weekly concerts provided by the Lakes Area Community Center and the fun-for-the-family Turtle Races on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Ask for more details about the Brickyard Lake Retreat. The Retreat, available in 2017, is a charming and cozy 1-bedroom cottage that is basically the Brickyard Lake Lodge's little sister (AKA mother-in-law's cabin!).

There is a large garage available for storage and boat parking, as well as an outdoor campfire area (we provide the fire wood, you just need to bring your supplies for smores . :)

Return Family Gathering

  • 5 of 5

We returned to the Brickyard Lake Lodge for the 2nd time for our yearly large family gathering. The space was large enough to accommodate everyone and allowed spaces for personal relaxation as well as large group gatherings. Everyone had a fantastic time. We enjoyed a lot of time sitting on the deck and playing yard games that were found in the porch. The house was clean upon arrival, and we were anxious to set up our spot for the week. We enjoyed returning each evening from long days on the lake to rest and relax together. The kitchen and amenities were perfect for preparing our own meals. We had a blast again. Thanks to the owners for the special touches and prompt attention when ever needed. We appreciate it!

Wonderful property even though not directly on lake.

  • 4 of 5

We were slightly concerned that the house wasn't directly on a lake, but the State Park with beach and picnic tables is very nearby and was just amazing. We had a very enjoyable time at the house, in the home. Plenty of room, nice decor and a great place to make and eat meals and hang out. We played cards and chatted. There is not a lot of room in the yard, so we basically packed up and spent a number of hours at the state park beach, as i said very nearby. We would definitely stay here again. I'd go 5 stars if it were directly on the lake.

Perfect for our reunion!

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect rental for our family reunion. There's plenty of room and the house was well stocked with everything we needed.

Like some other reviews stated, it's not directly on Battle Lake but is so close to public docks you don't notice. The yard is great for gatherings and games.

We're ready to book it again for next year!

Memorable vacation

  • 5 of 5

We had 6 families with children ranging from ages 2-10. There was so much space for our large group. The kids camped out in some of the open areas and had a blast. There was enough room for the kids to play and watch movies (in the upstairs living room) while adults were able to visit and chat downstairs. We were comfortable and happy to be there and agree we will try to make a stay there for next summer as well. Thanks for the excellent hospitality.

My family came from Denver, Minnesota & North Dakota for a family get together. We had Grandpa & Grandma and 4 families of kids from 9months to 14 years old. It worked great. Thank you for all the fun memories.

Brickyard Lake Lodge makes a Great MN Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderful MN getaway for my family. The Brickyard Lake Lodge was spacious yet cozy and fully stocked with towels, bedding, cookware, games and books - everything that you need for a relaxing vacation! The beds were comfortable and the lodge offered plenty of gathering areas to meet as a family. The location is perfect - within walking distance to downtown Battle Lake which is full of quaint shops and restaurants and of course the beautiful lake! There are bike and paddle board rentals available in town. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating. I gave 5 stars based on three criteria: cleanliness, location and atmosphere. The lodge was very clean, well situated and had a wonderful atmosphere. If you are looking to create family memories, this is the place!
