About Tim and Dawn

My husband and I live in Custer and this is our fourth vacation property. We enjoy meeting and working with people. We take pride in having a five star rating on our other properties and are striving to do so on this property also.

Tim and Dawn purchased this house in 2014

Why Tim and Dawn chose Custer

Tim and I designed and built this home to be a vacation rental. We enjoyed the building process and our guests have enjoyed the home. It has a beautiful view off the porch and the home is very spacious! There is a wood next to the home where the kids can play and make forts! There is a propane fireplace on the porch for your enjoyment on our nice cool evenings!

What makes this house unique

The Mickelson Trail is just off the porch! The trail runs over 100 miles. The deck is comfortable and has a propane fireplace for cool evenings and for roasting marshmallows! Nice yard and woods for the kids to play in and make great memories! The house is spacious and comfortable with all the necessities and more!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The only problem was that it went by too fast! Thank you Dawn for being such a nice host.

Great Custer Option

  • 5 of 5

This house worked out very nicely for our Black Hills family vacation. In our group of 12, we had 6 adults and 6 children. (ages 5 to 12) We all slept comfortably and there was plenty of room to spread the group out. It was a perfect home base for our group to come back to and relax every evening. Tim and Dawn really have this place set up to be a home away from home. I highly recommend this beautiful house.

Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in Custer! It was so clean and comfortable and was the perfect location for the seven of us to drive down to view the total eclipse then return for a wonderful dinner and glass of wine. We were also pleased to meet Dawn, an extremely helpful and friendly host. We certainly recommend this nicely decorated and perfectly located home for others who are coming to the Custer/Black Hills area!
