About the property

1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, 2 beds, Sleeps 4

When visiting Mexico, it only makes sense to stay in a property that is authentic to the traditions and history of this beautiful country. This palapa fills that requirement, as it offers great outdoor living opportunities while still providing a comfortable place to sleep for four travelers. Two queens beds are found in the living space, adjacent to a private bathroom. An outdoor shower adds to the charm of this classic Mexican getaway. The palapa also come with high speed internet and AC.

You are sure to work up an appetite on your trip, so the palapa provides an outdoor kitchen for your convenience. Enjoy your meals out on the patio as you plan your next adventure along the sunny coastline – or recover from your last one.

As a part of the Villas Cerritos Beach community, your stay in the palapa will be accompanied by a range of additional amenities such as a pool, spa, swim-up bar, restaurant, and much more. Naturally, you won’t want to spend all of your time on the property, as the stunning Cerritos Beach was likely the original purpose for your trip. Rest assured the beach is only a short five minute walk away, so you can enjoy as much time on the sand – and in the water – as you would like. Enjoy nearby Todos Santos and El Pescadero.

Perfect vacation for our little family!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the Palapa with our active 11 month old daughter. The accommodations were simple, but sufficient with everything we needed for a great beach vacation. The place was clean, and well stocked with plenty of towels, enough kitchen ware to make breakfast every morning, beach chairs (with a cooler pocket!) and even a sun umbrella! Beds were comfy and we all slept well. We enjoyed walking around the dirt roads to the beach and some local food spots - highly recommend the Barracuda Cantina! Also, the pizza and margaritas at the Villas' restaurant were great and the staff friendly and helpful. Chris was also super responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. Highly recommend this spot. Only wish we could've stayed longer!

Lovely

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I were hoping for a safe and relaxing Mexican vacation with our 9 month old baby and we found that! The Cerritos Beach community was very laid-back and friendly, the beach was beautiful and our son loved the pool. The palapa was just as described and we enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and patio area. There were just a few drawbacks: very few dining options within walking distance (no problem if you rent a car and don't have a baby in tow :)), a slightly limited supply of kitchenware if you plan to do much cooking, and lastly, the swim up bar was closed (not highseason?). I believe housekeeping is available upon request and for an additional fee. I would recommend looking into it when you arrive, as it would have been nice, especially with all of the sand we tracked in. Overall, it was a great destination and I would recommend it to a friend.

Great little laid back place

  • 5 of 5

We loved the Palapa, it had everything we needed for our stay. The community is really friendly, nice and quiet and the locals really seem to love it here. How could you not! We enjoyed the simplicity of the Palapa and the area in general. The beds are comfy and the outdoor kitchen is great!

We are a family of three so it was a perfect size and when you are not at the beach the pool and hot tub are really fun. Napoli’s restaurant (right at the pool) has really great and affordable food and the best Pina Colada’s we’ve ever had in Mexico. It takes a bit of time to get your order but well worth it as it is all made on the spot. You can even watch them make the dough and cook your pizza in a wood fire oven.

Renting was really easy and any questions we had were answered right away. They even have a website with all the info you need.

I recommend this place for an authentic, laid back experience.
