Spacious (2216 sq. ft. living space plus extra large, 180 deg. panoramic water view deck space with wind breaks and seating for 8 - 10), romantic, solar-powered, passive solar designed (skylights, full of natural light) 3 BR/3 BA Bodega Bay, CA home in elegant (landscaped gardens, no overhead utility wires/cluttered neighborhoods with junk cars/boats, etc.) Bodega Harbour South (water) side of 18 hole ocean side golf course community. Sleeps 8 - 10 (8 plus 2 infants) on cozy mattresses (all with mattress toppers) in 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and 2 twin beds, plus the possibility of an infant bed in 2 of the bedrooms. TRULY sweeping 180+ deg. Pacific Ocean white - blue water, beach and lagoon views from Point Reyes (Tomales Point) to Seal Rock, Bodega Head-Harbor-Lagoons. Beautiful water/sunset/golf course/open space views from decks, windows, and hot tub. No views of highways. Ambient sounds include whispering surf and marine sounds. Otherwise, the home is quietly located on park space (front and rear) and cul-de-sac. No traffic/golf course mower-sprinkler noise, or golfers - golf carts - chemical spraying outside your bedroom windows. 1 BLOCK (5 MINUTE) WALK to Doran Beach/tide pool trail heads, ocean side basketball and bocce ball courts, 1st tee, snack bar, and The Bluewater Bistro and Bar (ocean side bistro-bar & restaurant). Information for handicapped - disabled guests: from the front of the house, there are stairs (approx. 6 steps) up to the main floor. The large, walk in shower is on the main floor and all bedrooms are downstairs (approx. 13 steps). Two of the three bedrooms downstairs have private entry, ground level access to the rear garden.
House & BHHA (Community) Rules - by submitting your reservation request, you accept the rules stated below, and you agree to all terms and conditions herein.
This is not a home for parties/hosting events/wedding ceremonies-receptions, etc. No pets, no smoking anywhere on the property. This includes all indoor and outdoor areas. We prefer that shoes not be worn in the home. Primary renter must be minimum 25 years old. For meetings, and/or any activity that brings extra guests to the house, there are additional use fees and security deposits based on the size and type of activity. Written permission must be requested from owners and obtained in writing from owners prior to activity. This is a private home in a pristine, oceanside community - quiet and respectful behavior is required. Locked cabinets - cupboards - closets are not to be opened. Entertainment system wiring is not to be tampered with in any way. See also notes under Rates. Additional rules are contained in the guest handbook in our home, which must be read by each guest.
Rules and Regulations from Bodega Harbour Homeowners Association (BHHA)
The goal of the Bodega Harbour Community is for everyone, residents and all guests - visitors, to have a safe, relaxed and enjoyable experience while here. Abiding by the rules, which apply to everyone, will ensure that we fulfill this goal. If any of the following rules are violated by renters and/or guests of renters, owner and/or owner's agent/s reserves the right to immediately evict guests resulting in forfeiture of entire rental agreement, applicable taxes, and all fees. Additionally, you authorize owner and/or owner's agent/agents to charge your credit card for any related fines associated with these violations.
A. Maximum occupancy is 8 persons for this home.
B. Maximum of 4 vehicles (including up to 3 parked off property).
C. No trespassing on any lot (someone else's property).
D. No offensive noises, or disturbance, which interferes with other quiet enjoyment in the community. This precludes use of live amplified music. Quiet and respectful behavior is required 24/7 (at all times - not just 10 PM - 7 AM).
E. Non-residential use of the residence is prohibited, including all educational, religious and commercial functions.
F. No playing or practicing of golf without payment of golf fees. No trespassing, walking or riding on the golf cart paths, or golf course property, except as a registered golfer. Pets are not allowed on the golf course or cart paths.
G. No parking of RVs, motorhomes, boats or trailers within the community.
H. Behavior of all renters and guest should be conducive to that of a small community. Renters and guests in Bodega Harbour need to maintain behavior suitable to mature and responsible adults.
I. All beach access paths close at dark per Sonoma County Ordinance.
J. Schedule of fines - $250.
1. Per occurrence for excessive noise, nuisance or serious annoyance, or other activities which unreasonably disturb the quiet enjoyment of neighbors or results in damage to property owned by BHHA.
2. Per occurrence per person for violation of any other provisions related to the use of Common Area/or the Common Area facilities and amenities. These areas include but are not limited to the swimming pool, exercise room and tennis courts.
3. Per occurrence for use of a residence for a commercial or other non-residential purpose in violation of the Project Documents.
K. Schedule of fines - $250+.
1. Per occurrence per person for any unauthorized entry onto the golf course at any time except as posted.
2. Per person, per occurrence of non-payment of green fees prior to commencement of play. Golf course and golf paths are for registered golfers only.
3. Per occurrence for any pet violation. This includes keeping pet on leash and picking up after pet.
Events, Parties, Receptions, Weddings, etc.: although our home is not to be used for these functions, our ocean view community clubhouse and/or our harbor side yacht club could be perfect venues for your event. Please ask for more info.
Security deposit: You hereby authorize owner and/or owner's agent/s to charge against your payment method (credit card or other) provided, for all charges associated with any excess cleaning of home and/or spa, plumbing stoppages, lost keys and garage remotes, damage to the property, or its contents and long distance telephone, cable TV, and internet purchases. If the property does not experience any of the above, no charge will be made for same. Security deposits will be 100% refunded if no issues are found.
