Large apartment in a renovated historic building XIX century located in the historical and tourist center of Madrid. Renovated and restored for four people, twoo of them in a large easily open bed safa. Located in Cava Baja street close to Plaza Mayor in the best tourist entertainment area: restaurants, tipical tavers, theaters, monuments and El Rastro flea market. It´s exterior, bright. Personal attention by the owners. English and french are spoken.

A small apartment but what a location!

This apartment was excellent for our stay in Madrid. It was in a great location in the historical area and only 300 m from La Latina Metro station.

Good, well appointed apartment in a great area. Friendly, helpful host.

Our host, Jose Miguel, was very helpful, giving us a good introduction to the apartment and the area. The only caution would be that the apartment was on the third floor, with the lift not working, but we did get help with our suitcases. We were close to the metro and to lots of good cafes and restaurants. We have no hesitation recommending it to others.

Wonderful stay in Madrid

We loved staying in this Madrid apartment and José gave us a nice welcome and was very accommodating to our travel plans in terms of arrival and departure. We enjoyed the location which was lively but not noisy. The apartment was perfect for two and had everything we required. Thank you José.

Great location in La Latina

Great location: very short walk to Plaza Mayor and to the La Latina Metro station. Many tapas bars and restaurants right on the same street as the apartment. Entry and stairs: very secure main entrance door. Be aware there is no elevator and a 60 step climb to third floor apartment. This could be an issue depending on your luggage and fitness. Wifi: very reliable and high speed wifi, but signal was very weak in the bedroom which was farthest from the router. No issues in main room. Kitchen: well stocked. Microwave and stove worked well. Washing machine: we used once and worked well. Apartment had washing detergent supplied. No dryer but supplied drying rack was fine. Owner was very available and answered our emails promptly. He responded with recommendations about local eating, shopping and attractions. Overall a very good property. We would stay again.

Excellent stay in compact apartment

The helpfulness of our host and the central location of the apartment made our short holiday in Madrid very easy and enjoyable. The flat itself is small but has all you'd need for a holiday for 2-3 people. All was clean and comfortable and while there was a little noise from adjacent flats this did not disturb us and we slept well considering how lively the street was with lovely tapas bars. You can reach all the sights by walking or using the metro from La Latina. Thank you for a great stay in Madrid!
