About this property

Located around the back of the house down the paver walkway to an inviting outdoor living space with lounge chairs, dining, and grill. Enter into a sleeping area with an upholstered chair, queen size bed, and internet TV with WiFi. Bathroom with step-in Shower. Eat-in Kitchen with standard-size stove with oven, microwave, and refrigerator. Tile floor and rugs throughout, in-wall AC Unit, closet, and pantry storage.(No Laundry Machines)
One block from the beach directly East of Lido Beach Resort which has three Restaurants. Directly down Garfield Dr. Is a public beach and pool. Five minutes walk you are in St Armand Circle, two miles, and over the bridge is Marina Jack's and Downtown Sarasota.

Perfect for our needs!

Beach Retreat

This is a cozy studio with everything you will need to feel at home. There is a great outdoor patio area for extended living space. We enjoyed our stay and the owners were very helpful and informative. It is only 2 short blocks to walk to the beach. We also enjoyed walking around the shops and restaurants in St Armand’s Circle. I’d love to stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Lido Key Hideaway. Very clean and private and close to everything we wanted to do. Definitely will be back.

30 year Florida Resident originally from Kansas City, Missouri. Moved from Tampa in 2013 with my Real Estate License and started selling homes with Michael Saunders and Company. I met and was married to my husband Lou in 2020 who partners in managing and maintaining the property I love Sarasota and think everyone should live here. Life is a journey.

Why they chose this property

I met a couple on the beach that stayed in this unit prior to my buying it. They described it as one of there happiest times. Lido Key is a friendly place to visit and live and there are no strangers. This suite located at the back of my house has a private entrance and yard, not big enough for more than two people and one four legged friend. In Real Estate you learn very quickly Location, Location, Location that is why I live here. Most everything is a matter of minutes away and Sarasota road system is very logical and easy to get around. Bicycles are available for your use as is a Outdoor Grill and beach chairs. You will have a parking spot off the road a Laundry Room that we share. Sunsets are spectacular and St. Armand Circle shopping and dinning is a dream.

What makes this property unique

I love dogs and have a Miniature Schnauzer that is brilliant of course. The property has a 3' high metal fence with gate. The Blvd of the Presidents is a lovely place to walk dogs with poop bags provided and trash bins. Dogs are even welcome down on the Circle in most shops and outdoor dining restaurants.
The past two annual renters to stay here have purchased a property from me.
