The property has original hardwood floors throughout, the home's original staircase, intricate cypress molding, ten foot windows, and towering ceilings; all of the charming qualities that set New Orleans architecture apart. The home has also been updated with energy efficient improvements such as tankless water heaters, energy star rated appliances, fully insulated walls, and more.

The townhouse has two bedrooms located on the second floor along with a large shared bathroom and laundry facilities. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and full walk-in closets. The living room features comfortable living furnishings including a sofa, chairs, and cable TV. A dining table seating six occupies the dining space. The kitchen, with composite quartz countertops and new stainless appliances, opens to the living/dining space with a large bar. The stove is a five burner gas stove, satisfying the cook in the family.

Those guests traveling with transportation will enjoy the home's close proximity to many transit options and sights within walking distance, including the St Charles Streetcar, Lower Garden District, WWII Museum, and Superdome.

Only way to visit New Orleans!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here for a week while in town for business. The house was fantastic and Marty was hospitable and responsive. I enjoyed my stay and would look to return in the future. Highly recommend.

Marty was really nice, available at all times. The house was really nice had a lot of character to it, close to the trolley line. Would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely Modern French Home

  • 5 of 5

It is a lovely home that has a touch of modern to it, along with the French. We loved it! I believe it is time to update pictures online as it has changed since these pictures were taken. Four of us stayed comfortably. You can walk a few blocks to the trolley, but using Uber was the best...and cheap!

The owner so kindly answered every text or call! We should have called him about this...but, we never could get hot water in the shower on the bottom floor. Past that minor thing, we would recommend this place.

Perfect New Orleans getaway

  • 5 of 5

There were 4 adults and we stayed here 4 nights in April (between Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest). We loved staying in a quiet neighborhood away from the Quarter, but still close enough to get around easily.

There is plenty of room, it's incredibly comfortable and clean, as well as unique and cool - high ceilings, modern and well-stocked kitchen, central air conditioning, 2 full bathrooms, a delightful front porch to hang out on. We rented a car and there was ample street parking. We felt perfectly safe and it's walking distance to more than enough markets, bars, and coffee shops.

Marty, the owner, couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating, as well as very generous and knowledgeable about dining options and other advice.

We would absolutely stay here again.

Old & New

  • 5 of 5

This area is slowly coming back to life. The house was spacious & close enough to the Trolley for easy access to all the typical tourist destinations. Marty was an informative host. Uber was easy to use and everyone was helpful, kind & charming. The only "complaints" the downstairs bathroom water was warm but not hot. Also the front bedroom was very bright at night due to outside lights & sheer curtains.

But we would stay again.

Renovated Nola House

  • 4 of 5

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at Marty's condo. Marty was excellent to work with and gave us some great suggestions on dinner locations. The house has been completely redone and you will get a real sense of NOLA staying here. There are two things to be aware of - first the stairs are very steep so if you have issues with stairs be aware of this. The second is it is in a transitional neighborhood. We walked during the day down to St Charles and around but at night you will not want to walk in this neighborhood. Neither of these were an issue for us as we took Uber everywhere. I would highly recommend the property.
