Our Tuscan dream
The property is amazing! It is situated on an olive grove with plum, apple and cherry trees. The views are spectacular from the pool area and from your bedroom window in the early morning. There were 6 us staying at the villa and it provided ample space and everything we needed. It is just outside the small town of Quarrata which has grocery store, amazing coffee/pastry shop and pizzerias. Moreno was a fabulous host. He was helpful and always available for any questions we had. In fact he came and met up with us in town on our first evening as we had trouble finding the location and led us to his place. The highlight of our stay was the evening with the 2 chefs and Moreno enjoying cooking and laughter. An amazing end to our stay.

A very nice place, close to Firenze. The owner is really and you feel at home. The place is quiet and the house is beautiful. We spent great holidays there.

Perfect Tuscan stay!
Moreno’s villa could not have been more ideal. It was easy to access, private but close to town and everything you need. The surroundings are gorgeous with beautiful views, landscaping and gorgeous sunsets. The cooking class and dinner that he arranged for us with two lovely ladies from Lucca was the highlight of our entire trip. We will remember it always. We highly recommend this beautiful, historic villa and say “Grazie mille, Moreno!!”

My name is Moreno, I did scientific studies and this helped me to evaluate and implement the plant restructure of this House. I've always loved beautiful things, elegance and essentiality to functionality.

Why they chose this property

I have always loved living in the country and have always enjoyed the kind of life that these manor houses let you live.
As a child my grandmother took me summer afternoons at the river and after a bath to make a snack in the Park of a sixteenth-century villa nearby.

I was in love with the House, the garden of boxwood and scent of the panorama on the city that you enjoyed.

I felt these feelings when I saw for the first time in this House.

It was an old villa surrounded by a large park has become a forest full of nettles and weeds.

Was in full structural decay, but it had an enviable location for the view that offered and especially was rich in historical details (1500 frescoes) frames of carved stone interior doors and large rooms and architectural structures that already constituted furnishings (antique fireplace Hood, sink, etc).

I decided to buy it knowing full well the major task that would involve returning to ancient splendour.

Just recently completed work by reusing all of materials is keeping the same structure and plant native.

What makes this property unique

It's an old House but it has all the comforts of a modern. It is a villa in a park on a hill where the highest noise are the birds that inhabit the surrounding trees.

Architectural traits did (pull-out ceilings, terracotta floors, rooms in passing without corridors) similar to those ancient villas belonged to noble families who used these houses of countryside as hunting residences.

From the Windows you can enjoy the sight of glimpses of garden landscape, of the plain and the surrounding hills to the mountains of the Apennines.
